Q:The manual doesn't show how the depth regulator is fasten to the tiller. The depth regulator has a bolt on the top but it useless where it is supposedly fasten on the tiller. It needs a pictorial of depth regulator is fasten to the tiller!

I am glad I bought this product
This product was well priced and was easy to assemble. I bought it for my garden and it got the job done quickly and easily. The only thing I don't like is I have to continually squeeze the levers in order for it to move.

I would definitely buy this product again.
I use this product to till my new garden and for a 74 year old it really make life easier.This tiller is a time saver and a back saver.Only thing I would change is it needs a better gear selection.Other than that a great machine.

Good Tiller, But could use a little redesign
Purchased Champion Power Equipment
22 in. 212cc 4-Stroke Gas Garden Front Tine Tiller with Forward and Reverse, back in April. However, upon receipt we opened crate only to find the (overflow line ????) broken off (***No indication in Operator/Product manual of what this part is called or it’s function (Please see image below). Manufacture should really consider redesigning this part a lot more sturdier as-well as description added to Product Manuel.

I would buy this product again.
We bought this tiller to use in our first garden. We love it and it's super easy to assemble and use. We plan on using it to till the whole garden next year instead of renting a tractor.

Yes, would buy it again
I used the tiller to turn over soil in a garden area that hadn't been utilized in over 15 years. A layer of 2 to 3 inches of sod and grass had matured over the raised bed of top soil. It took me about an hour per pass to complete an area about 800 sq. ft. I already made 2 passes and expect the last pass will take slightly less than an hour. I recommend changing directions of your till pattern on each pass as to not miss any undisturbed soil and sod. Overall I give it a solid 4 rating as there were some issues I had upon assembly that could use improvement: 1) When inserting the wheel assembly into the frame I installed 2 thin washers between the assembly and the frame to reduce wiggling movement. 2) When installing the spring and washer on the wheel height adjustment I replaced the end washer with a bigger one to make it so you don't need needle nose pliers to install and put a split cotter pin over it so it won't vibrate off. 3) Replaced bow style cotter pins (supplied) with larger diameter Hairpin spring cotter pins for all tine connections, also to resist vibrations and rock encounters with the tines. Other than that I believe it's a good machine and worth what I paid for it.

Nice little machine works great
After my brother bought one of these machines I went out and bought one too this is the greatest machine giant two-stroke motor on a cultivator all kinds of Power it'll turn up Stones dirt everything and you can go down between the rows of the garden just perfect just what I always want it thank you champion

Great little unit
Great little tiller, wouldn't use it on anything too big though. My garden is 12'x16' and I wouldn't use it for any bigger than that. Starts really easy and runs flawless. The lightweight makes it a little tricky to operate as it can bounce around a bit, but also makes it so you can easily pull it up and out of the dirt. Also makes it easier to maneuver around objects. My only complaint is I would like to see a throttle you could set and forget. With the bouncing up and down it can be a challenge to keep the speed you want unless you're clamped down running it full bore the whole time. All in all great little unit

Impressed
I was very impressed with this product. It easily tilled a spot that had never been tilled before. Went thru small roots and rocks easily. I will be using it on my raised garden beds next year to mix in compost. Well worth the price.

It works great when it's not broken.
I've used it a few times now to mix in soil and fertilizer for my 25ft x 25ft garden. It works great and has a good amount of power to smoothly go through the mix. The downfall is the parts, it has too many plastic pieces and makes it a weaker machine. As I simply and properly ran it for the first 5 minutes, I suddenly noticed the plastic choke switch broke off. The machine then lost capability to keep tension on the cable at the handle throttle that controlled the spinning power for the tines (which unsafely got stuck at full throttle). I had to immediately turn the engine off. After looking in the dirt for 5 minutes I found the piece that broke off. The usage of the entire system is now no longer steady or safe, therefore unusable.
