No problem Easily
We encourage you to go at least one size up which would be our 3,100W inverter for the intended application. Please keep in mind that there are other factors that are involved as well, such as elevation, or charging batteries on a camper without realizing that they require a charge. This will minimize the items you are planning to run, and in some cases it will not run your 10000BTU air conditioner. Thank you.
No this one is gasoline. They do make a natural gas/propane version as well
In videos with sound tests, the champion performs very similarly to Honda, Harbor freight and Generac invertor generators. You should expect about 84 decibels at the engine and 64db at the industry standard 23 feet under load and around 58 db with no load and eco mode on at 23 feet. For comparison, an open frame job-site style generator will be 100 db at the engine and 80 db at 23 feet, load or no-load because it is not an inverter generator and has to coninuously spin at 3,600 rpm.
We are very sorry that we are not able to accurately answer your question at this time. Can you please send us an email to support@cpeauto.com to allow us clarify the information you are requesting? We would like to make sure that the correct information is provided, and can assist you direct if you have additional questions. We apologize for the inconvenience.
Use a GFI device and you will have no issues. This will add protection prior to reaching the generator unit. You can purchase a cord adapter with a resettable GFI built into the cord.
I have 3 of these and they sit directly on earth.
Yes it can. The flat surface is for the low oil cut out and the fuel pickup. If too much slope, then the alarm will shut off the generator. If you are worried, build a small wood platform or recess some small concrete blocks in the slope of the hill to level the grade.
Champion makes a Storm Shield Inverter cover, i highly suggest you use this if leaving the generator out overnight.
12 Gauge or 10 Gauge, but depends upon length of cord. The further away, the larger the diameter, by the way 10 is larger than 12 in wire terms. 10 AWG is also heavier due to more copper stranding. This unit only puts out 15 continuous amps. 12 AWG is more than enough to vocer this output, but when you make that cord 100', there is a voltage drop that occurs and you take the chance of under voltaging your refigerator, so best to use google how to calculate voltage drop and make sure you do things correctly
