Product Details

Grill up to three whole fish at a time in our heavy gauge fish basket. It prevents the fish from sticking to the grill. Place up to three fish in your lightly oiled triple fish basket. Cook on your pre-heated grill over medium to medium high heat until your fish are cooked through. Start on one side and switch to the other side halfway through the cooking process.

    The design is poor. The basket closes flat and the metal is too rigid to give way to what you place inside. Also, the thin wires combined with the pressure gave my three tilapia fillets a quarter inch indentation and the meat cooked around it. The fillets tore while I began separating and i used a fork to push the meat down as i went. Still, I lost about an eighth of the meat to the basket and much of what I could use was no longer in the she shape of a fillet. Oiling the basket would have made no difference in this case and there is no was I would ugly up three whole fish using this Non-Stick Triple Fish Grilling Basket. On the other hand, two simple modifications would make a world of difference: First, the two coils used as hinges could easily be removed and replaced with larger ones. Second, the ring that holds the basket closed could be removed and replaced with a larger one. These mods would makes this an outstanding product for the money. Id rather pay five dollars more for something ready-to-go.
