Product Details

PVC fittings are for drain, waste and vent purposes. They are used in gravity-fed waste elimination systems and are for Non-Pressure systems. To be installed with solvent cementing, threading, flanging, and roll-grooved joining.
  • White pipe and fittings with red print
  • Not intended for pressure use
  • For use where systems will not exceed 140° F
  • Are used in gravity-fed waste elimination systems and are for Non-Pressure systems
  • Conforms to meet Standards: ASTM D 1784, ASTM D 2665, ASTM D 3311 and NSF 14

        Q:What kind of 2 IN PVC rigid pipe can I get for potable water. Found 2 in white PVC Schedule 40 DWV says it's potable, but can't find fittings that will say they're potable.

        A:  first of all this particular fitting is designed for Drain, Waste and Vent applications and should never be used in any type of pressure situation. secondly we realized a few days ago there was a mistake in the marketing for this and others like it in that they are not for potable water. We've made the corrections and if it hasn't the corrected verbiage should cycle over to the HD website soon. Please check with your local Home Depot store for recommendations.
