PVC Sch. 40 Pipe is dual marked and can be used in DWV and pressure applications. PVC Sch. 40 is highly durable, with high tensile and impact strength. It is easy to install and has better sound deadening qualities than PVC Sch. 40 Foam Core and ABS Foam Core. Installation requires the use of primer and solvent cement.

I want to use 4” PVC to for gutters on a barn. Which type would be best for that—i.e. Schedule 40, DWV, etc?
Charlotte Pipe products are designed for plumbing applications and are used for a variety of projects ranging from irrigation, underground sprinkler systems, swimming pools, and outdoor applications. A gutter system would not be pressurized so DWV would be suitable.
