Good afternoon. Thank you for reaching out to us with your question. If your floor is installed over a wood subfloor, you can install underlayment panels and install new flooring over them. It is not one of our recommended installation practices, but it can be done. If the flooring you have installed now is a single layer of fully glued down material we recommend installing directly over it. Any texturing will need to be smoothed over with S-194 Patch, Underlayment & Embossing Leveler mixed with the S-195 Underlayment Additive. Here is a link to our installation instructions for this floor. https://sforce.co/36Aj0O0 I hope this information is helpful. Have a great day.

Yes you have to buy a whole box which means you'll have 30 tiles left. You may get lucky if they have some loose ones laying around!

Good morning. Thank you for reaching out to us with your question. I apologize for the inconvenience; however, we do not recommend the use of additional adhesive with peel and stick tile. The important thing with peel and stick tile is to have a clean, flat, smooth surface to install over, and to roll the tile thoroughly with a roller after installation. Here is a link to the installation instructions for peel and stick tile. https://sforce.co/2E96s5E Peel and stick tile can be installed over existing vinyl and ceramic flooring, not over hardwood flooring. Existing vinyl flooring needs to be a single layer of non-cushioned flooring, fully glued down, clean and free of waxes and polishes, and is flat and smooth (vinyl tile can only be instaklled over on grade or above). Any texturing will need to be smoothed over with S-194 Patch, Underlayment & Embossing Leveler mixed with the S-195 Underlayment Additive. Ceramic tile must be firmly bonded, clean, dry and dust-free. Check for cracks, scaling, levelness, and other damage. Grout lines and other texture on the ceramic will need to be leveled with S-184 Patch & Skim Coat or S-194 Patch, Underlayment & Embossing Leveler mixed with the S-195 Underlayment Additive. I hope this information is helpful. Have a great day.

I used mine on an outdoor patio and it's held up fine for over a year. As long as you don't flood the bathroom floor, you'll be fine!

I love this flooring, easy to cut, nice look, blends with multiple wood tones! I've used it in most of my mobile home since it's reasonably priced and easy to cut & apply. After covering a kitchen, livingroom, and bathroom (2 yrs ago), I re-did my home office space with it as well. My mobile home is a 1991 colonial design. This floor complements the design well. It is very easy to install.

I chose this flooring because it was the least expensive tile. I just need a quick fix until I redo all the flooring. It is thin but that means it's easy to cut. I used gorilla spray adhesive to make sure they stay down as I did this over old linoleum.

It is not as sticky as the others I've purchased had a hard time getting it to stick several pieces of the box was damaged in store. Several pieces have already (less than a week) had to be pulled up and replaced. Ok for quick fix but I'm not sure how long it will last. Dissatisfied overall looks decent at first but time will tell. Overall if I had to do again would have bought different tiles.

Good morning. Thank you for taking the time to post a review of our product. We are sorry to hear that you are not satisfied with this product. The adhesive on the back of the tiles does not feel very sticky. It is a pressure sensitive adhesive, so it must be rolled in both directions after installation to seat the tile firmly to the sub-floor. Any damages tile or tile that fails after being installed can be replaced under the manufacturer's warranty. Again I do apologize for any inconvenience. Have a great day. Armstrong

I purchased this product yesterday and I was very excited to install it in my bedroom. I vacuumed and mopped the bare concrete to prepare for the installation of the vinyl tile. Sadly, after laying about 4 tiles I had to stop the project because they weren't sticking. I then removed the wrap that was covering the adhesive layer of one of the new tiles and I noticed that it wasn't very tacky at all. I also wanted to warn others about the packaging. Some of the tiles were completely covered with the plastic layer, other tiles had about an inch exposed.

Good afternoon. Thank you for taking the time to post a review of our flooring. I am sorry to hear that you are having a problem with this flooring. The back of the tiles is not overly tacky when touched. Applying pressure (rolling in both directions with a 100 pound roller) is a very important part of the installation process. It is also important to acclimate the product before installing. The flooring should be stored in the area where it is expected to perform for at least 48 hours before installation, and the area where the tile is being installed should be maintained between 65° F (18° C) and 85° F (29° C) for 48 hours before, during, and 48 hours after the installation. We also recommend the use of Armstrong S-185 Latex Primer to treat the primer before installing the tile, this helps to encapsulate any dust that can form on the surface of the concrete. If there were tile with the backing paper coming off or not covering the tile completely, we recommend returning them to the store for replacement under the manufacturers warranty. Again I do apologize for any inconvenience. Have a great day. Armstrong

My husband and I started with these tiles for our basement which is almost finished. We had to complete the floor with these tiles as we started with them. It looks great but unfortunately, eventually some of the tiles started popping up and we had and still have to glue them. If it wasn't for that, I would recommend them.
