500 Gal. Black Vertical Water Storage Tank

This is my second purchase on this tank ,very manageable to put in back yard 150lgs but big. Heavy duty made and will provide extra rain water storage to water garden, wash cars etc. I'm using a solar 12vdc pump 45-55psi cycle range which has a inlet check valve to hold pressure. (350 feet of garden hose-pressurized) and 200' of 1" pvc pipe to connecting all 4 large tanks "all seek same level-full on a gravity loop" off the house gutters. I started with 2 large tanks I purchase from the city water rain water harvesting 1000 gallon total but ran out of water during the summer dry spell in Seattle. Adding these two new tanks (750g each) now TTL 2500g - should provide 62 days or water @40g day. I'm collecting 2100g per 1" when it rains. I think this is an excellent use of materials to use less city water and offset the initial cost of these tanks. Very happy with product, meet my needs. Fun project!

Overall excellent value. Container needed a lot of cleaning mostly rinsing which uses lots of water as it needs to be at least partially filled and emptied multiple times but otherwise it’s sturdy with a small footprint and perfect for our needs which is to store potable drinking water. Keep in mind the smell of plastic takes a while to go away. We are still using a taste and odor filter on the output line. Also you will need to buy the plugs or outlet fittings for the upper and lower bulkheads which are 1.5” inner diameter on the bottom and 1” ID on the top. Teflon tape is a must to avoid leaks. Lastly a sturdy level platform is an absolute must for placement.

Very happy with tank. Installed and now in service with no problems. Considering the size of this tank, 10'x4' and only weighing "150lbs" is a real plus without any appearance of compromising structural integrity. Delivery was excellent and very fast. I'm confident that this tank will meet all my expectations and last a long time.

Perfect for outdoor emergency water storage. Product website helpful in providing accessories (plug, reducer and valve) to complete the project. Selected 250gal because it is lower than the fence.

I purchased the tank to store water for an emergency. Tank arrived as expected, and descriptions of inlet and outlet were also as described, so the adapter fittings I purchased when I picked up the tank (plug for the top, reducer and hose bib for the bottom) fit just fine. If there is one complaint, it is that the top of the tank was a little sunk in on one side. This does not prevent the threaded access cap from operating, it is merely cosmetic. Not unusual for a plastic tank molded as this one is. There is a strong plastic smell that I hope does not come through in the stored water. Hopefully a thorough cleaning and airing out will resolve this.

The tanks we received, though purportedly the same product, are different in height and circumference.

Good Quality water tanks were exactly as described on the website. The price was very competitive and though it took 2 weeks to get them, they arrived earlier than expected. They were in great condition.
