Are these sturdy enough not to bend if persistent squirrels attempt to get to them?

AnswersThese are flimsy and a squirrel would ruin them. Besides, they are only 3 feet tall, so once installed in the ground, they are only about 2 feet tall.

Metal very soft, not durable over all

These began to look shabby within a day. The metal is too soft and the powder coat brittle. The leaves were all bent by squirrels immediately. Where they are bent, the coating has broken/chipped away in big flakes and the metal beneath is already rusting after only 2 weeks. The opening at the top is also quite small making them difficult to fill.

I should have read the reviews for this product before ordering it. Normally I do. The construction of the cattail bird feeders is poor. They are too short; once stuck in the ground, they will be only 2 feet tall. The holes in the screen are large, so only sunflower seeds and larger feed can be placed inside. I ended up returning the feeders to Home Depot. Cute idea, just not well designed or made.

I found that sunflower seed is best. Anything smaller the seeds just fall through when you try to fill the feeder. I took a couple kabob sticks and put them through the feeder to give the birds a place to rest while they eat.
One cattail was great but the leaves on the another one bend when larger birds land on them.
