Simple 3-step installation-just measure, mount the brackets, and fix in the shade and valance. A: Hello! You need to place the order for the exact inside mount measurement of your window. Please note the blinds already come with 1/2" deductions to give room for installation. So a 36" Fauxwood blinds will come with a 35 1/2" headrail.

Q:Mine broke and no longer retract at all after one year of moderate use, they hang fully extended and the tension lines are slack. I need to replace it. The width of the actual blinds is 34.5 inches so do I look for a specified blind width of 35 inches?

lacking basic components

This product did not come with side(end) mounting brackets like every other blind i have ever purchased. But they do sell them separately. Had i known that i woukd have went to the store and purchased. It would have been much cheaper as the brackets i needed were an aditional $12
