Do I have to take the door off the hinges install the seal?
Asked by: Deborah
No. I just measured the length I needed then trimmed the seal, opened the door and pushed it on. It only takes about 15 minutes to install.

Hi I'd like to use it on a bedroom door as a noise damper, will it do the job? I have wood floors throughout, which let's a lot of noise in. Thanks in advance.
Asked by: Javiman
That depends on the thickness of your bathroom door, it might look a little funny on an interior door. I don't think it would help much with noise, it's main purpose is for keeping out drafts. The rubber flaps on the bottom shouldn't hurt wooden floors, because they are pretty flexible.

The bottom seal on my door is worn and not working well. Will I have to remove the old door seal or will this fit over my existing one?
