Use CITRISTRIP® Paint & Varnish Stripping and Removing Gel to remove dried latex and oil-based paint. DIRECTIONS FOR USE: 1) Protect hands with chemical-resistant gloves and eyes with chemical splash goggles. 2) Shake well. Pour into a container and apply with a paint brush. 3) After 30 minutes (up to 24 hours), scrape a small test area to see if finish is ready for removal. For overnight stripping, after applying, cover application with plastic until ready to scrape. Gently scrape in direction of wood grain with a plastic stripping tool. For stubborn areas, use an abrasive stripping pad dipped into CITRISTRIP®. A toothbrush, toothpick or stripping brush will help remove old finish buried in recesses. 4) Use a paint stripper wash to loosen remaining residue and then mineral spirits to prepare surface for painting. Surface should be completely clean and dry before refinishing. Helpful Tips: Test in an inconspicuous area before use on any synthetic surface as strippers can damage these surfaces. Keep out of reach of children.

Will this work on spray paint?

Asked by: dani
It doesn't seem to matter how the pain is applied, the paint remover softens the paint so you can scrape it off with a plastic putty knife

Can I use this indoors

I have a very heavy dining room table but I’d like to keep it indoors while I do this work. Can I use indoors? I have kiddos and animals.
Asked by: Kim3278
I used it indoors and found the smell wasn't incredibly offensive. I would still suggest you ventilate the area by opening some windows and using a fan. Also, no matter how safe the product I would always suggest a mask/respirator.
