AnswersIf you only have one switch with adjustable controls that makes sense because you are adjusting power to the whole thing. If you have 2 switches with adjustable controls maybe you need to switch the one going to lights and fan at the fan. Don't quote me but I think black and red, or white and red if you have 4 wire.

Extremely easy to install. Comes with written directions, and digital directions, that make it easy for a non electrician/ non handy woman to hang herself. There was already existing wiring so I didn’t have to do anything besides match up wires and mount.
All white option or white with grayish wood blades. 10/10

Good budget fan
I've purchased five of these, two for a house I sold last year in a kitchen where air didnt move well, and three to replace dated fans in bedrooms at my current home. For the price, they work pretty well. Motor noise is a bit louder than more expensive brands, but I wouldn't say that it's annoying or so bad I'd need to replace them. The ones installed in the old home ran just about 24/7 during summer months and never had any issues, I'm sure the three purchased for my new home will work just as well. They're good and affordable.

Not a true white
I paired this fan with a shiplap ceiling and unfortunately the fan is not a true white. The attached photo doesn't show the color difference very well but this fan definitely has a green cast to it when compared to the Behr Alkyd Semi-Gloss Enamel White NO. 3900-N. Everything else works fine, just disappointed that the whites are so far off.

This fan is an junk
I got a single family home and I got 3 of these fans for my 3 bed room house. Just fine gives like humming noise and other noises, I'm unable to sleep the night due to high sound. This fan is one of the junk product. Hampton bay is much better than this fan. I want to throw this fan and go for Hunter or Hampton Bay.
