Q:We just purchased the Montlake Fadesafe cushion; product description says that it is water resistant, but the instructions with package say that the cushion is not water proof - but it is for outdoor furniture. Can we keep the cushions on even when rainy?

Excellent quality
The antique beige lounge cushion was the perfect, neutral color for my patio. I can add different throw pillows to change the color palette whenever I see fit.
It was pretty easy to insert the cushion into the cover. Make sure you do so before the cushion is fully expanded. Great fabric and excellent quality, especially for the price. Love it.

Built To Last
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This lounge cushion fit my chair better than previous ones I've had, as it covered the entirety of the chair with no shortage. It was a bit of a challenge to get the cushions into their zippered casings, but well worth the effort, and I'm sure it would be much easier with two people (I didn't have that option at the time). It's everything I could ask for in a lounge cushion: solid, sturdy, comfortable, zipper enclosed casing, washable cover, waterproof & fade-proof cover, and secure snap-on straps that hold it firmly in place.

Really nice
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] To start, it comes in stuffed. Its a flattened & rolled up in sealed plastic. You open the plastic & the foam pad expands. The instructions say put in the slip cover right away after opening & the pad will expand over time. I opened mine & it pretty much expanded right away. I was able to get the cover on the seat part with some extra effort, the back/head part was easier. But in al l not a big deal. You can feel the quality of the cushion as you insert the padding.
The material is nice, stitching is strong, I like that it is fade resistant. The is a strap on each side to attach to your lounge, its adjustable & slides between each side to make it a perfect fit.
Once I put it onto my lounge chair I knew I found my summer happy place! The Montlake FadeSafe Patio Chaise Lounge Cushion is a perfect addition to my lounge chair

Top notch materials and excellent design. The fabric resembles a canvas like toughness with a soft feel that seems like it will last a long time. I hope it lives up to its fade resistant claims over the years. It comes with 2 straps in the middle to securely attach to the lounge chair. It seems a little narrow for our lounge chair but looks really nice.
There are 2 separate cushions that fit into the slipcover. Each section of the slipcover has its own zipper and both sections of the slipcover are connected to each other by fabric. It is quick and easy to complete the unpacking and assembly. The foam cushions themselves are individually wrapped in a permanent thick plastic like material which provides an additional layer of protection for the foam insert. The slipcover comes in its own separate box.
If you are familiar with a Casper mattress in a box, you will notice similarities on how its packaged and shipped. The foam cushions are first compressed/shrink wrapped tightly together. They are then rolled up tightly and wrapped into another plastic for shipping. It takes a while until the foam cushions fully expand into their final/normal shape.
SUGGESTION: Insert the foam cushions into the slipcover BEFORE they fully expand. It will be easier.

Excellent strong locking zippers on the outer cover that slip underneath an extra lining (hence `protective garage`) ensures a `no scratch zone` either on the bear skin or furniture. It is easy for the foam filled mattress to fit into the protective cover by simply folding it over and sliding it in. The double stitch seams make for a tough cover over the 3 inch thick Lounge Cushion.
The antique Beige Polyester (50%), Polyurethane (50%) is rain resistant and easy to clean by wiping it over with a damp cloth.
The adjustable strapping system with click-close straps is good quality and design and secure the cushion from slipping.
Very comfortable to sit and lie on.
An exceptional good quality lounge cushion.

Perfect fit for my lounge chair. The outer material is very well made. The color is perfect! Stitching and zipper is of good quality. The anchor straps are adjustable so it should fit a wide range or chairs. Inner cushion is made of a dens foam that is supportive and fits perfectly in the case. Although it was difficult to get the cushion into the case I do recommend watching the instruction video before attempting.
