Answersthe 44 in. should work for a 29.5 in. diameter. Ours is 44 in. diameter and the 44 in. cover was too small---60 in. is great.

AnswerI've seen cheap firepits but unless you are looking to keep replacing them (because they will rust out quickly) you should think of a better quality one. I have been very happy with the Veranda model and the cover protects it from the elements. Hope this helps.

We have a dome over our custom block fire pit. Tired of trying to light fires when the wood or pit area has been rained on and not quite dry. This is perfect and surprisingly fits very well over the dome down to the sides of the stone. Quality seems very durable. So far so good.

I received a tile inlaid fire pit for Christmas 2013 and had a chance to enjoy it the very next night. The day after that, it rained and I immediately saw the need for a fire pit cover not only to protect the beautiful tile and appearance bit to keep the weather out of the bowl. I searched a bit but the Classic Accessories Veranda Collection continued to prevail in the reviews. It arrived promptly so I examined it closely. The material is durable and two-toned and the draw string with stay cinches up tightly. I knew it also came with a pair of leg straps but what impressed me was the plastic click-lock buckle straps were run through a loop on the cover and NOT attached to the cover itself so if the buckle breaks (which can occur) you can simply replace it and not have to buy a new cover. SMART! great product.

My husband built a round fire pit with stone and a fire pit insert. We want to extend the life of the insert by protecting it from the elements....keep it from rusting. Our pit is 48" diameter. We ordered the Large 60" so we would have good coverage....it fits perfect! It looks great! It has a gathered bottom and you can pull it tighter too. Very happy with the product.
We also have the Classic Accessories Veranda Grill Cover. Have had it for a couple years...still looks great.

My husband bought a fire pit for the back yard this summer and we've been enjoying it, but there's been only one problem with it. It would fill with water every time it rained. We'd dump it, but then have wet wood and ash all over the ground. So I went online and found this Veranda cover at a great price and people were giving it great reviews. There were also much more expensive covers, but I chose this one and I am very happy I did. It lives up to its reputation, fits like a glove, and solves our problem.

For the money this of excellent value and quality. Fire pits aren't cheap and protecting an item that's outside full-time is no easy task. I feel this cover will do the job. The leg strapped could be longer however to fit my pit better.

So far appears to be great quality. We bought the cover bigger cause our firepit has a vertical edge instead of that shown. That way its covered completely to the base. The cover is a heavy material & well stitched so we're hoping it'll stay put in windy conditions, even when we don't tighten the drawstring.
