How does the light attach to the post?

AnswersConsider that the first low price you paid may have been a special introductory price on this item to get folks into the store. Sometimes the pricing can be as low as cost. After the introductory promotion, the special price may no longer be available. Once a mfr. gets a product placed in the store, he gets the repeat business, even at the higher price. This is not an unusual situation to get distribution for a new product.

The lighting is great and enhance the look of my deck, they replaced plastic lights that discoloured very quickly. Minor issues with keeping them seated on the post I didn’t caulk but instead went with a double sided tape, works just fine.

While reconditioning our iron back fence, we decided to try solar lighting beside the gate leading to the creek. These post caps are the perfect solution for our 2x2 iron posts. Took a few minutes to figure out the right way to use the adapters (instructions need work). After 2 weeks of use, there are not as bright as I may have liked, but good for general lighting. We will be ordering more to complete the entire length of the fence.

It depends on how well they charge. When it’s very sunny, the lights charge well and are bright and stay lit all night. On cloudy days, they are dim or don’t light at all. But overall, I recommend them.
