AnswersSorry if this is almost 3 years to late to respond(!) but I just got the question. I ordered the collars and it specified at time of order that it wasn't in stock but could be shipped to store in a few days at no cost. When I ordered the axle, it showed it was at another location close by, so I just stopped by later and picked it up. Hope this helps...

Bought 2 sets to use for mounting 2 wide wheels on a 5/8 in axle for an 'adjustable' bicycle cart...
Bought 2 sets to use for mounting 2 wide wheels on a 5/8 in axle for an 'adjustable' bicycle cart(street wheels and 'beach' wheels). The collars worked like a charm: slid on easy, tightened, done. Loosened to remove the wheels from the axle just as easily. The hex wrench needed for these collars is 4 mm, btw. If you need a fast and cheap option to hold a wheel on an axle, this is your answer. As for price/shipping/notification/pick up, etc: all good. Nothing at all to complain about. Just get the axle from them as well (about $9 for a 36" axle) as it makes it easier to try it when you pick it up. Home Depot is awesome, can't be happier with their selection, assistance, friendliness, and no, I don't work for 'em!

Tighten the set screws, and I appear to be set until the flat-free tires I mounted fall apart. Much better than the washer-style holders which were a pain to get off and broke in the proces

It is hard to critically evaluate a simple part. It is not stainless steel, but the price is right and easily replaceable, if it ever rusts out through the zinc plating. It fits nicely (close tolerance). It is used on a stainless steel shaft and is quite adequate for my purpose.
