It is slightly over 3 inches. IMG_1 shows a piece with one end trimmed. IMG_2 shows the trimmed piece against a ruler.

Does this work for unlevel ground? One end of my door is not touching the ground.

Asked by: help
I doubt it. How far is the door off the ground? I might add a shim to the bottom of the door and extend the seal rails to match.

1/4 t will not fit in the rail of the bottom of my garage door

I need a weather stripping smaller than the 1/4 inch --1/4 wont slide thru the rails. where do I get them?
Asked by: bama
Yes... I found that my seal was 0.20" (1/5") when I used a caliper on the old seal. Good luck finding one. I went to the authorized dealer of the door and they did not have 16' in stock, but he cut off a piece and I tried it. It went in the track, BUT it popped out when compressed! I looked at the width of my old seal and the "T" and the sample was the same width. The difference was the thickness of the "T" and the fillits. So not every 1/5" is the same!. I ended up buying a seal/track combo and installed it over the old track. Arghhhh. Hope this helps!
