How many units can be safely stacked?

AnswersI'm not sure why people are saying to only stack 2 or 3 tall. I stacked up 4 of them, screwed it to the wall through a stud in a couple places. Whole tower is very sturdy and works great as an end for the rest of the Impressions closet system.

AnswersLocate the 2x4’s in the wall that should be 16” on center. Drill a tap hole into the 2x4’s 16 inches apart horizontally. The tap hole should be smaller than the screw you will use. Drill a hole one inch down from the top of the shoe organizer and 16” apart. The screws should just fit through it. With a washer inside. Screw it to the wall.
Just got this and it tells me I need glue. What kind? It does not say anywhere.

AnswersAs long as the tower is the same width as the shoe organizer and your space has the height, then yes. The top of the shoe organizer has the holes for dowels and comes with those dowels.

So easy to put together... if you get one that has the holes drilled correctly. Two of the shelves on the one I received have the holes drilled for the metal rods on the wrong side, making the wrong, unfinished side face the front.
I bought this to replace a couple cheaper Closetmaid shoe shelves in my living room and wanted them to match the rest of my furniture. This is a much lighter "walnut" than the rest of my walnut furniture so it doesn't quite match.
For 60.00 I am extremely disappointed in this and deeply regret buying it. I should have just stuck with what we had

Looks nice! Assembly was easy and quick. Works for what I wanted and needed even while renting. I wish they had more choices instead of just 3 shelves. I paired it with another closet maid shoe organizer(not connected or exact measurements) for more storage. This shelf will fit low ankle boots & heels. You can fit about 3 pairs on each shelf. I am a size 8 in women. Might be a tight fit for men’s or wider shoes. The front of heels slip under the metal rail maybe a non slip shelf liner would help. I don’t keep all these shoes out I just wanted to show it full.

I bought this to finish up my son's closet. It was super simple to put together and just completes his closet. Keep in mind that for adult men, you may only be able to fit 2 pairs of shoes across with space for 1 more shoe, not pair. My son wears an 11.5 but I just put his more flat shoes stacked on each other on the space that fits 1 shoe.

Easy to assemble and quality looks great! I like that you can just wipe it down with a cloth if dirty and the slant look so I can see my shoes better. I also like how you can stack it on top of each other to make room in closet. I bought 6 because I needed a lot of storage for all my shoes. Women’s shoes can fit 3 per shelf, men’s only 2 because of their size. Overall I am happy that I saw these on the homedepot website this is what I was looking for.
This met my need, but you should remember no top or bottom. They stack nicely.

I purchased this shoe rack because it matched the shelves and drawers I already had in my closet. Despite what was recommended, I stacked 4 units. I secured each unit to a stud as well. Very sturdy. Some of my heels were a little too tall, so I turned them around on each shelf to make them fit. I would recommend and would buy again.

Easy to build... just make sure you construct on a solid surface vs a plus carpet. I had to stack 4-high to make tall enough for the upper hanging rod. My wife loves her new walk-in closet.
