We bought this for a closet that is used for things like costumes and dress clothes that are not commonly worn. We bought the narrow shelf because we wanted space to hang things. It is a nice unit and was fairly easy to install. I wanted to add shelves but the only add on was deeper than my
Unit. We did purchase the brackets and a far less expensive shelf and installed 3. One over the double hanging area and 2 over the single bar. It has made that closet so nice that we are considering putting one in another bedroom closet.

Fantastic
This is the third closet system I have purchased. 2 from another supplier arrived so damaged they could not be used. I ordered this one and was so pleased how it came packaged with all parts and no damage. It went up easily and was easy to assemble. It looks fantastic in my closet and was just what I was looking for. I bought the tower, hanging rods and shelf for the top all separately to build it out.

Love it, looks beautiful! My only concern is that we have a longer span for the rod and because the rods provided are on the shorter side it bows under the weight of the clothes. So we jury rigged it and though it still bows we know it is strong enough to hold the weight. I guess that means I would recommend making the rods longer or at least providing a longer rod for the special need.

Installation instructions are probably the easiest instructions to follow that I have ever read in my 50+ years on this earth. While installing the closet system I accidentally broke several pieces... I called ClosetMaid to see if I could buy some replacement parts. They graciously Fedex'd me a complete packet of the installation hardware...FREE! GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE!
