I've only had the PX1 for a short time, but I bought it to replace a similar sized Coast flashlight which I lost in the field a few months ago. I am a volunteer firefighter so I need to keep a reliable flashlight with me all the time. The PX1 fits very nicely in the tool pocket of my pants, it carries easily, the clip is quite strong, and so far has been utterly reliable. It is sturdy and provides great light. So far I'm very happy with it.

My hurricane light source
I bought the PX1 for work a few years back, as I would get up during pre-daylight hours to retrieve equipment left on water valves, hydrants, and meters. It was fantastic for not only seeing the area I needed to get to, but for any cars seeing me while out in the dark. I just started using it for some light painting photography and it's awesome!! Long battery life, and great light as needed. Definitely a 5 star flashlight.

    Powerful, Compact, Indiscreet
I bought this light back in 2017 (i think), so I've had it a while. I bought it as a utility/defense flashlight. As such, it is part of my EDC with my knife and handgun. My three favorite features are as follows: 1) The light is powerful in dimly lit places. The beam floods very wide, but has a great focus. The battery life is good. Ive changed batteries twice since purchasing it (probably runs about 6 hours continuoisly, never tested it.) 2) It is durable. I've dropped it many times. It has scuffed a bit after landing on pavement, but no impact on performance. It has gotten wet many times with no issues. Just a few scratches, same great light! 3) It is compact and discreet. When I carry this light, I can carry it on my belt or in my pocket. Either way, it is small enough to carry comfortably. It also doesnt draw attention. Which is nice. Now here are the issues. 1) If any sand or grit gets in the twist-to-focus area it will make a sound and sometimes grind up a bit. Nothing worth complaining about, though. 2) Sometimes the clip comes off of the casing releasing the light from my belt. This usually happens if I sit down in a car with lots of bolstering. Just be aware it may run away from you if you're not careful.

It's been a pretty good light. I like that it's small and fits in my poket. So it gose everywhere with me and is super bright. I have drop this thing on the floor (concrete) multiple time and hasn't stop working thats a plus. I'm just kicking my self I should of bought two when they had them on sale but still worth the full price.

So glad I waited to write this review! I had read other negative reviews on this particular Coast product (the PX1 led adjustable focus flashlight), but the price was great, even though it came without the sheath, landyard, or the quality packaging (batteries are included) at half the cost without the extra's. All I really needed especially since Coast is the quality brand I've preferred. 1) I've now had this one for seven weeks. Only started putting it to use about five weeks ago. After the second week of use on high light output for 10 minutes, it would flicker as I've read in other negative reviews. Very irritating. Other lights would just have a lower light output as the batteries start to go weak. 2) Personally not happy with the light spread when adjust to pinpoint focus, and weakish lighting in general. Nice features but disappointing as a utility led.

This is a nice, small, and sturdy light. It fits nicely in the palm of my hand. I like the ability to adjust the light beam. The on/off switch is conveniently located to thumb it on and off. It really does feel quite solid and puts out a decent amount of light for the size. (Bonus, it's small enough that my wife lets me keep it in one of the utensil drawers in the kitchen, so it's always handy when I want to use it)

        I love this light!
Tough flashlight that stays by my nightstand. Produces an intense bright spot, yet Illuminates my entire bedroom with peripheral light. This is the best tactical-type light I have ever owned. Need to get more for downstairs, garage, truck and car, backpack and toolbox. Coast flashlights get my recommendation.

        Really worth the money!
Wow.. this is a great flashlight! I am very impressed with this little guy. It measures 4.75" long by 1" in diameter. I tell ya, size does not matter on this flashlight, as this outperforms my mag 3D any day. When I opened the box, I got the idea that this was a pretty high quality product. It is packaged very well, and the batteries are included - and not some off the wall brand, they include Duracell (Copper Tops). I put the batteries in the flashlight and hit the switch. The great thing about this switch, is it is located in the butt of the light, and it has a momentary option if you don't click it all the way. You can also click it all the way and it is constant on, until you click it off. The beam on this light is not adjustable, however, I don't really see the need for it. It gives a real spotlight effect. I included a picture of the light in use. You can see sort of a halo effect around the main beam, but the beam is so powerful it doesn't even matter. It states that it has a beam distance of 128m, I don't know how accurate that is, but the beam goes a long ways. I'm not going to measure it though. Seems very high quality, made out of aluminum, and the end cap has a water resistant o ring, as I think is common on most flashlights these days. Comes with a high quality case that can be attached to a belt, and a lanyard you can attach to the end of the flashlight. The box also says 208 lumens... I believe it. And it says 6 hours and 15 minutes continuous runtime... I don't know about that, but I am sure they are accurate. If you are sick of wasting money on cheap flashlights, choose this one. I have used streamlight flashlights and I think this one is superior, at about 1/3 the cost. It is a little small, but it packs a lot of power.
