Found this door thru Jenny Komenda on Instagram (love her)! And it turned out perfect for my space. I was able to mount over existing trim without a problem. And it lets ALL.THE.LIGHT in. I hung it between our sunroom and living room. Great value and easy to install.

The door is gorgeous. I'm the most Type A person in the world. if I'm five stars happy, it's the real deal. My house was built in 1947 and the door had to cover an odd-sized opening between the formal dining and kitchen. My studs didn't line up with all the pre-drilled holes. We had to make one new additional hole. Not the end of the world. Installation took 4 hours. In a new house, I would guess two with a two person team. Hangs elegantly. Glides perfectly and feels solid in movement. The frosted glass is opaque, so shadows are the only thing visible if you're standing close. Great door if you want privacy for a bath, closet, etc; Visually, the door is stunning. It looks and feels expensive. You know you're not looking at something ordinary or "off the shelf." Very custom, very clean, as pictured. The metal is true black. The glass is a soft, milky-colored white frost that does allow light to pass through, but blocks the view. And best off all, it really sets off the room in a way that people can tell you are serious about design elements. If you like the look, buy the door. I'm so happy I did.

Great looking door. Main complaint is that it doesn't come with a mounting board, so if your studs don't magically happen to line up with the 5 bolts on the rail, you have to go back to the store to find a piece of wood that you'll use to secure to the studs first. Other than that it was a great buy!

We were somewhat concerned by the condition of the box that door was in when we picked it up at the store. The employees at online pickup were also concerned and they helped up inspect the door as best we could before taking it home. Note: Home Depot employees at the Palm Springs, CA store are always pleasant and helpful. Luckily the packing material inside the box had protected the door from damage. We finally reached a point in our renovation this week where we could install the door. Our suggestion is to read the directions several times and understand every step. If you do, as we did, the installation is quick and simple for DIYers. We had our contractor add 4 2 x 4s inside the wall at the header of the door to ensure that the track would be mounted securely. The door is very well made, substantial, and is a beautiful addition to our home. We shopped around for the right door. There are many options at all price levels. At about $450 including tax, this is an unbelievable value.
