Yes
Try a Danish Oil to make the grain pop, thsn use 5 or 6 coats of wipe on poly urethane
Yes the grain is parallel to the length.
Yes. Prime coat first and then paint. Best to use two thin coats rather then one heavy coat.
Yes it could but it would need some sort of durable finish if it will be exposed to moisture.
Yes. Would suggest that you use a pre-stain conditioner first to prevent blotching.
Your local Home Depot can answer that question.
you finish as you wish
Hi RLS - Yes. Would suggest you apply a primer coat first. Let dry for 24 hrs. Light sand with either 220 grit sandpaper or 1000# steel wool. Make sure to sand WITH the grain (see attached photo). Apply two coats paint waiting 24 hrs. between coats. Hope this helps......Lee W.
The 1/4" White Oak panels are a B-4 HPVA grade. This plywood is unfinished. We cannot offer 4x8 material online due to shipping constraints, but they can be purchased as a special order through the prodesk at your local Home Depot as long as we service the stores in your area. Give me a call at 336-291-5869 or email mhale@cfpwood.com and I can provide more information.
