The decorative veneer on this 1/4 in. x 2 ft. x 4 ft. PureBond Cherry Plywood Project Panel is plain-sliced from a domestically harvested cherry tree, exhibiting the uniqueness and warmth of natural timber with hardwood grains running along the length of each panel for stunning visual allure. Precision-cut with finely honed edges, these petite panels are perfect for smaller cabinetry and woodworking projects or putting the finishing touches on larger furniture-building jobs. The soy-based PureBond technology is strong and water-resistant, able to tolerate moisture and humidity better than plywood assembled with formaldehyde-based solutions. Additionally, the 3-ply panel is cost-competitive with UF-constructed plywood and will not expose indoor environs to toxic fumes, further preserving interior spaces and promoting healthy living and working conditions. Expand your DIY exploits with this cherry hardwood plywood to create a myriad of exquisite carpentry pieces, including footstools, benches, cabinets, shelves, end tables, pet food centers, serving trays and more.

Hi, This panel will have cherry on the face!
Hi, The 1/4" 10 Packs we offer are the ones that tend to do the best with the glowfordge Lasers. I don't see there being an issue with this product either!
Hi, No, the edges are not finished. You will see the ply's.
Hi, Yes, you can buy our 4x8 sheets. All you would need to do is go to your local Home Depot pro desk and place an order. ETA will be around 4-5 weeks. If you have any other questions you can reach me at alec.neugent@cfpwood.com. Thanks.
All my orders had the grain running the long dimension.
Thanks. That is odd since the 2 boards I purchased had the grain running the short dimension.
That is a question to ask Home Depot……..
The two sheets of cherry plywood I ordered each had the grain pattern going along the the longest dimension. It was not a custom cut.
I used it for panels on a cabinet door and finished it with with de waxed shellac to bring out the grain and three coats of water based polyurethane.
Hello, I would recommend using some type of coating to protect the wood. A spray lacquer coating will work.
It all depends. I would definitely work in 8' panels, and the 1/4" would be lighter. If you had adequate support, you could use 1/2" or 1/4". The thinner panels won't tend to warp if supported well, however, if supported well, you could use the 1/2" panels. 1/2" are more money.
great piece of cherry 1/4” plywood. would buy it again
The 1/4” would work fine for a small basement ceiling project. Would probably use 4ft lengths for solo project and 8 ft lengths if you had assistance.
warping wont be a issue as long as their is not a lot of humidity, it can be sealed on all sides to resist humidity. it should be secured flat across the surface with a adhesive to help prevent warping as well.
Maybe a pound in weight. no it would not freestand alone or support and sort of weight or force. They would snap.
Each panel weight approximately 6 pounds. It will have some flex to it.
