- PureBond hardwood plywood is an environmentally friendly, cost-competitive alternative to panels manufactured with urea formaldehyde (UF), which may degrade air quality over time
- Contains 100% natural wood bonded with a food-grade soy-based adhesive that does not emit toxic air contaminants
- Decorative top and bottom veneers, measuring approximately 1/38" thick, exhibit the beauty and timeless quality of natural hardwood and are suitable for painting or staining
- Water-resistant composition has a higher moisture tolerance than UF panels and is less likely to warp than solid wood
- Allow panel to acclimate to interior climate conditions for several days before customizing - for interior applications only
- For best cutting results, use an 80-tooth (or greater) table saw blade intended for sheet goods or a carbide-tipped circular saw plywood blade

Overall, this is good wood for me to work with. I ordered 5 sheets. All of them were exactly 2' across to my eye. The veneers on both faces look nice and accepted a dark stain well. I found a couple voids in the sheets I ordered (photos). The faces are smooth, but I lacquered faces and it ended up uneven. I sanded some other faces with 220 before lacquering and the finish was smoother.

Excellent Panel for Small Projects
I have used several different varieties of these Columbia Forest plywood panels. They have all been of good quality and good looking on both sides. Aside from being easy to handle (2 ft. x 4 ft) they are easy to cut, rout, sand, and paint or stain. I have used a clear stain or varathane on some of my panels and they look gorgeous!
I have used some for closet shelves and so far, no sagging nor warping.
I find that these plywood panels are an excellent recycle of the fast growing Poplar Tree. I have cut many of these trees down on my property as they propagate like rabbits!

The top layer of the plywood was incredibly thin, which states it that it is just a decorative at 1/38 inch thick. Sanding with 220 grit started so show the layer underneath.

Material great, custom cut was off.
This is my second order of custom cut plywood. The first order involved two sheets and were perfectly cut. The quality of the material and cuts is superb. The cuts are very smooth and clean. However, the second order, while the 3/4" Poplar plywood is high quality, there was an error on one of the two cuts requested. The width was cut on a slight angle making one end 1/8" narrow and the other end 1/4" wider; extra work to resolve.
