Answers

Read instructions and cut a hole in the side like your old one. If you can’t figure it out you shouldn’t install it

can I use my a/c in the plenom

Answer

Typically the AC is installed in the plenum. However the plenum is not part of the furnace. The plenum is typically a sheet metal transition box fabricated to hold the AC coil. It typically sits on top of the furnace. The opening is sized to match the discharge of the furnaces and the overall shape is sized to hold the appropriate A coil. The discharge of the plenum typically corresponds to the size of the main trunk line.
