Great for workshop!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Perfect for my workshop where make knife handles. It is about 150-200 square foot and it's perfect. Love the fact that if its tipping or was to be knocked over it would shut off. Very well made I see it lasting for years of use. The adjustable temperature and fan speed is exactly what was looking for. Just set it and go about whatever I was doing.

Effective Industrial Heater
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Comfort Zone’s Utility Milkhouse Portable Heater is an effective unit. This meets my needs perfectly. I have a small, two bedroom apartment with the thermostat placed in a weird area. My living room and bedrooms are always colder than the rest of the apartment. This heater measures at 10.5inx7.25inx14.25in, is lightweight at 5lbs and is 1300 watts on low/1500 watts on high. The cord is decent length at 70in and it has a two prong plug. There is a three position rotary switch control which has two heat settings (high&low) and a fan only setting. Another rotary switch sits below, which is an adjustable thermostat with an antifreeze setting. The fan forced heat system pushes out a steady stream of hot air and warms both my bedrooms quite fast on the low setting. For my living room area, which is a bit larger than the bedrooms, I use the high setting. The heater is fairly quiet, you hear the fan running, but its not loud or distracting. Its all metal construction, rugged looking. Aesthetically, I would prefer it in a garage or workshop versus my bedroom or with my living room decor. On the plus side, it’s durable and will withstand abuse. The top handle makes it easy to move. The outside stays cool. The spring heat coils do not turn red. The heater doesn’t smell. For safety, there’s an auto-shut off, a tip over switch, and a caution light to indicate a problem if it should arise.

Comfort Zone Portable Heater
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This heater is perfect for my needs. I have a couple of cold spots in my house one being my art studio where I spend a great deal of time. Was always cold in there but not anymore. This little heater warms it up nicely in no time! I love that it has the tip over safety so that if I bump it and it tips over it shuts off immediately. It's very quiet when it's running too. Very satisfied with it!

This unit has some nice features, but is lacking in quality. There is an anti-tip shut off switch so the unit will shut off if it tips over, but the unit lacks weight and can be easily pushed over. The metal bladed fan is reasonably quiet, but only spins at one speed. The heat knob is easy to turn, but has no indicator for what the temperature setting is. The power knob has settings for off, fan,low and high heat, but is very hard to turn and the indicator is hard see from a distance. The only assembly is attaching the upper handle with 2 Philips screws. It does produce a nice amount of heat at each setting, but it seems a bit low end for the price, mostly because of the low quality of the power switch and that the knob markings are hard to see from a distance. If you are looking for a very lightweight heater, this may be for you if the power knob is not an issue for you.

All set for winter with this small but powerful space heater. I always prefer the ones that push warm air rather than the infrared. Feel like they warm the room better. This one comes plenty powerful with a fan setting, and two heat settings. My garage is approx. 10x20 and this will be more than enough to take out the chill. Very important is the auto-shutoff in case it gets knocked over. My only complaint is the top handle had to be installed myself, wasn't expecting to have to find a screwdriver. All in all for the price you won't find better.

I put a canopy over my deck this summer and my wife is lamenting the fact that with Fall’s arrival our days outside are over. This heater will extend our deck season for another month or two. This Chinese made heater is perfect for my needs with a choice of 1300 or 1500 Watts. The safety feature is perfect for me. If you tip or lift the heater it immediately shuts off. Just remember that with your first use you will smell the heater but that is normal and short lived. The heater is stable but light weight. The antifreeze feature makes this a perfect heater to use in a room where possible pipe freezing could occur as it should help prevent it.

The Comfort Zone 1,500-Watt Milk House Style Portable Electric Heater is a classic with modern safety and convenience features. Like all electric resistance heaters where essentially all the power input turns to heat it is very efficient but the 5-inch fan pushes the heat out and distributes it very effectively giving the impression that it is also especially effective. The power selector allows fan only, 1300 watt or 1500-watt operation, a nice feature for locations with older wiring or limited available power. The thermostat dial has a wide range and is marked with a setting indicating freezing point. A safety switch projects from the base so that in the event of an overturn the unit will shut down. It has a 6-foot-long 16 AWG cord.

I got this little heater to supplement the 220V heater that I have in my workshop. I like that it is 120V so that I don't have to run another 220 line. The heater appears to be well made and sturdy. It has two heat settings, 1300 watts and 1500 watts. Use the 1500w setting to get the room up to temperature then switch to the 1300w setting to maintain the temperature. It also has a clever thermostat for setting desired temp and an anti freeze setting that kicks the heater on if the temp in the room goes below 40 degrees, this will help prevent ice formation in the area where the heater is. It has nice safety features too, a safety tip-over switch and a caution light that indicates when the heater parts get too hot.
