Questions & Answers

How does the antifreeze option work

Asked by Ricky February 13, 2021

This is not a good unit to use for heating. It does not move enough volume of heat for you to even feel it while standing right in front of it.

Are there any space heaters at the Burleson TX location ?

Asked by Fred February 13, 2021

You should call that specific store for better info

How does the anti-freeze option work?

Asked by Elle November 26, 2020

I bought two of them they work great for heating small area

Asked by Shanie June 12, 2020

I've been using mine to warm up my small shed and I'm glad I did not leave my unattended because a day later I noticed the prong had melted the socket it was plugged in to. I wouldn't leave it plugged in and walk away.

What is the length of the power cord ?

Asked by Sarah December 19, 2019

The power cord is approximately 5 feet long.

How much space does it heat

Asked by Stc December 15, 2019

It depends on how long you leave it on, but I think it will heat up a fairly large room quickly. I use it in a large bathroom and in about 5 minutes, there's a big temperature difference. I think the circulating fan makes a big difference in getting the heat dispersed into an area. I have a static (radiant) heater and it takes a LOT longer to heat up a room.

Does it have a 2 or 3 prong plug?

Asked by randy December 10, 2019

It has a 2 prong polarized plug.

Does this heater have a 3 prong grounding plug?

Asked by Chumleytoo November 30, 2019

Two prong plug

Is this appropriate to use in a small bathroom?

Asked by pat October 11, 2019

Yes, I actually use mine in the morning to take the chill off.

Light heater
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this to review. I noticed right away that it is a super light heater. I have had many different types over the years and this must be the lightest yet. The handle was not attached so I had to put it on but all that was required was a screwdriver. The Milkhouse Utility Heater heats up fast and does a good job of warming up my garage. I like to work in there so it's nice to have it warm when it's cold outside. It has three settings, high, low and fan only. One thing I really like is that it has the auto off when and if it tips over. I tested that feature and it does work. This is a pretty cheap heater for all that it does. I would recommend.

great tip-over safety feature
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Comfort Zone 1500 Watt Milkhouse Utility Heater is small and efficient. It is functional, has different comfort levels and has a push button tip-over safety feature on the bottom of the unit. It can effectively heat a small work area. It does have a fan, which starts off quiet and then gets a little louder. I recommend this unit.

This heater works really well!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My review is on the Comfort Zone 1500 Watt Milkhouse Utility Heater. This heater is energy efficient and really kept my garage warm when I had to work on my car in the middle of winter. It has settings from low to high on this heater, and it seems really durable. I also liked that it has a tip over cutoff switch and an overheat protection sensor, which made me feel better about using it if it tips over and I am on the other side of the room. It has a carry handle that you can attach onto the heater, so you can take it anywhere you need to use it. I would recommend this potable heater for any area use, like in the garage.

Great heater!!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Totally in love with my new Comfort Zone utility heater!! Even though is relatively small, it warms up super good and it has advance safety system, it's perfect for a small room or garage, as it will work wonderful in small spaces without worrying about overheating because it has a protection sensor, so it's super safe

This unit has some nice features, but is lacking in quality. There is an anti-tip shut off switch so the unit will shut off if it tips over, but the unit lacks weight and can be easily pushed over. The metal bladed fan is reasonably quiet, but only spins at one speed. The heat knob is easy to turn, but has no indicator for what the temperature setting is. The power knob has settings for off, fan,low and high heat, but is very hard to turn and the indicator is hard see from a distance. The only assembly is attaching the upper handle with 2 Philips screws. It does produce a nice amount of heat at each setting, but it seems a bit low end for the price, mostly because of the low quality of the power switch and that the knob markings are hard to see from a distance. If you are looking for a very lightweight heater, this may be for you if the power knob is not an issue for you.

All set for winter with this small but powerful space heater. I always prefer the ones that push warm air rather than the infrared. Feel like they warm the room better. This one comes plenty powerful with a fan setting, and two heat settings. My garage is approx. 10x20 and this will be more than enough to take out the chill. Very important is the auto-shutoff in case it gets knocked over. My only complaint is the top handle had to be installed myself, wasn't expecting to have to find a screwdriver. All in all for the price you won't find better.

I put a canopy over my deck this summer and my wife is lamenting the fact that with Fall’s arrival our days outside are over. This heater will extend our deck season for another month or two. This Chinese made heater is perfect for my needs with a choice of 1300 or 1500 Watts. The safety feature is perfect for me. If you tip or lift the heater it immediately shuts off. Just remember that with your first use you will smell the heater but that is normal and short lived. The heater is stable but light weight. The antifreeze feature makes this a perfect heater to use in a room where possible pipe freezing could occur as it should help prevent it.

The Comfort Zone 1,500-Watt Milk House Style Portable Electric Heater is a classic with modern safety and convenience features. Like all electric resistance heaters where essentially all the power input turns to heat it is very efficient but the 5-inch fan pushes the heat out and distributes it very effectively giving the impression that it is also especially effective. The power selector allows fan only, 1300 watt or 1500-watt operation, a nice feature for locations with older wiring or limited available power. The thermostat dial has a wide range and is marked with a setting indicating freezing point. A safety switch projects from the base so that in the event of an overturn the unit will shut down. It has a 6-foot-long 16 AWG cord.

I got this little heater to supplement the 220V heater that I have in my workshop. I like that it is 120V so that I don't have to run another 220 line. The heater appears to be well made and sturdy. It has two heat settings, 1300 watts and 1500 watts. Use the 1500w setting to get the room up to temperature then switch to the 1300w setting to maintain the temperature. It also has a clever thermostat for setting desired temp and an anti freeze setting that kicks the heater on if the temp in the room goes below 40 degrees, this will help prevent ice formation in the area where the heater is. It has nice safety features too, a safety tip-over switch and a caution light that indicates when the heater parts get too hot.
