Please note that adding more than four strips will not increase the weight capacity. The maximum recommended frame size for this product is 24 x 36 inches.     Decade of Loving these, hate the new backing
    I love command strips and they always work for me. I’ve been using them for a decade bc I change my decor around a lot and they allow me to do that without marking up my walls. I’ve never had an issue with them removing paint from the walls. Sometimes I have reinforced the part that I attach to the frames with super glue, but that’s only bc the frame material on vintage frames can’t be prepped with rubbing alcohol like the walls can be. I am removing one star bc I hate the new back liner and I don’t understand why they would change it. Why would you get rid of your branding and easy peel in exchange for clear plastic that is difficult to see and not as easy to remove? I really hope it gets changed back to the original.

      NEVER EVER AGAIN. Can't trust them
      Just don't do it. These either don't stick long and suddenly you have items falling off your walls and breaking as they fall, or they do stick, and they DO NOT come off cleanly as advertised. Most either don't pull like they advertise, snap, and take all the paint with them, or they do pull off, looks like it's actually doing the adversitied job, but then you are left with really hard, gross looking yellow patch from the adhesive (mostly commonly with small clear hook variety). Patching holes if i put standard hooks into my walls would be soooo much faster and easier. Product should not be sold.

        Horrible product
        Horrible! I used these to hang Christmas lights and paper decorations and when I tried to remove them per directions they took drywall and paint off!

          Not worth it, they don't work as described
          I purchased these to hang up two pictures that are probably about 6 lb. They did not hold at all for even a few minutes or stick while taking the strips off all but too came off fine. The other two pulled the paint off my walls and I remove them slowly just like it describes. I am not happy with them at all. Do not recommend them.

            Easy way to hang wall art
            [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have used other Command products and found them easy to use and effective. I was quite happy when 3M offered me the chance to receive a Command heavy duty picture product in exchange for my honest review. Living alone, picture hanging has been a challenge for me. Received the product in time to hang a new canvas art piece above my fireplace. Super easy and sturdy. No worries that it won't hold - very pleased.

              Great product
              [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product works great and protects your wall. It will hold the poundage that it says it will. It removes easily and doesn’t leave a tear on the wall if you have to take it off. It is easy to use and the package has four in it.

                Good stuff

                  Teenager approved for poster hanging
                  [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My kids went to an anime convention and got some really cool posters they wanted to hang. 3M to the rescue! These strips were perfect for the iob. They have stay put. My teenagers approved and we will be getting some more in the future.

                    Good for lighter frames.
                    [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These strips are great for lighter frames. It is very nice to be able to take a frame down, peel off the strip on the wall (follow the instructions, make sure you peel down, now away from the wall, or you are likely to loose paint) and not have to worry about ugly damage on the wall. No holes, and most modern paints do allow you to remove without damage, though some of the older paint in my house was not quite as forgiving. I have not weight the frames I was hanging, but one of the larger (30*40 I believe) was too heavy and did fall down, but fortunately no damage to either.

                      Perfect for those heavier items you need to hang
                      [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used this product to hang a large combo whiteboard/bulletin board. I like that I can adjust it if I didn't get the placement perfectly level. I received this product free from 3M to evaluate. It was very easy to install and it appears to be holding the weight with no issues. The previous hangers I used, fell off in a matter of days, probably due to the weight. These heavyweight hangers were exactly what I needed.
