1 ft. x 4 ft. 50-Watt White Integrated LED Edge-Lit Flat Panel Flush Mount Wraparound Light

This fixture was used to replace an earlier installed same fixture that quit working on half of the fixture. The replacement process through HD was very easy and cost me the amount of tax only. The cost of the fixture (without tax) and cost of shipping was all taken care of by HD. Save your receipts when purchasing these lights, it was all I needed for free replacement. Originally our kitchen lights were two 1x4 foot tube fixtures that occasionally had bulbs darken and go bad. We saw this fixture as a total replacement but found that the fixtures were 1" shorter than the holes in the ceiling. There are various ways to fix this and I elected to place an oak trim under the fixture, matching the other wood trim, and covering the small gap. We also placed the 2x2 foot panel over the dining area with the same oak trim and everything looks and works great. Additionally, our home was totally wired with the bowl fixtures that used either a single or double 60 watt bulbs. All singles were replaced with the circular 11" fixtures and double 60 watt fixtures were replaced with 15" circular fixtures of these edge lit LEDs. Wires in almost all the fixtures were scorched from heat of the 60 watt bulbs. With the amount of heat produced and having it contained in the decorative glass bowl, it's easy to see how the old style screw in bulbs are a real fire danger. Installation was very easy to do; remove the old fixture, attach new mounting frame to electrical box, attach wires, and slip new LED fixture into holding frame. I especially like not having to set it up in the stairwell to replace a bulb in a very high fixture. These fixtures have a small cable that holds the fixture while you attach the wiring, a very nice feature for the install person. I have completely redone my daughter's home and working on my mother-in-laws house, replacing old style bulbs with these edge lit LED fixtures. I have attached two pictures: (1) The difference between the old tube and a new light. (2) A little wood trim and it looks great.

Very easy to install and gives off excellent light. Bright during the day. Put mine on a dimmer switch and love it.

Pretty straight forward to install. Definitely helps to have two people around. The bracket can be a little finicky when sliding the light on, but nothing that can't be solved by opening up the clips just a little. Provides a very good amount of light and the low profile design is awesome. A word of caution, these need to be hardwired in your ceiling. They don't have a method to route a plug externally nor to they chain as easily as others. That being said, they are great lights and I'd definitely recommend them.

Cost effective to buy instead buying replacement flourescent bulbs for my old fixtures, less than $10 more per fixture, and a far nicer looking and superior light Bright, dims very well Some of my older leds do not dim well at all, these do dim great tho Easy to install Quality product I am replacing 5 lights, that are all the same, so I bought a few different fixtures to compare, these were the nicest, the least expensive, and are the brightest My decision was rather easy too, returned the rest, bought 4 more of these

Excellent product .. easy to install with plenty of dimmable light 4000k. Much better than cutting into the ceiling to add multiple recessed or "can" lights.

This light is so bright and gorgeous - lighting up my garage so nicely. Great price, too'!!

Easy to install but don't use the wall hangers that come with the light. Buy a pack of self-drilling dry wall anchors and use them instead and the mount will fit firmly to the ceiling sheet rock. Pick up some small washers to use with the self-drilling dry wall anchors as the heads of the screws are small and the washers will ensure the heads don't pull through the mount. Once the mount is installed to the ceiling you can hang the light from a heavy gauge wire attached to the mount so that you do not have support the light while connecting the wires. The engineer that added this feature should get a promotion as this should be added to any type of fixture you would add to a ceiling. Makes the job easy for one person. The light turns on immediately compared to the old fluorescent lights and is very bright. Great light! So much that I bought a second light. Only had the light for less than 30 days but so far no regrets.
