Better than expected
When selecting this product, I presumed the cowling was plastic, but was pleasantly surprised that the white decorative portion of this light is metal. The securement to the electrical box/ceiling is simple via the keyhole notches in the metal plate which allow for fixture replacement without complete removal of the screws. The fixture twists into the mounting plate for secure tool-free adjustment of the light temperature via the switch on the back of the fixture. You may run into issues with getting this to fit tightly to your ceiling if you have heavy texture, popcorn or your junction box is not flush with the finished surface, but this should work well for most installations with properly set electrical boxes.

Maintenance free led flush mount light in white
Flush mount white led light fixture. I installed this on my front porch since it is a flush mount. It was simpler than I expected to install so I was happy about that. It is adjustable light of soft white, bright white or daylight which is nice also if you like your area to be well lit or softly lit. This fixture carries a 5year warranty. Maintenence free lights are my go to now all the time.

Great Light with Many Uses
The 10 inch LED Ceiling Light from Commercial Electric is and excellent product with many nice feature and uses. First this light uses only 18 watts (1500 lumens) which means most any old light fixture it replaces is going to reduce energy usage. The light color is selectable (soft white, bright white, daylight) to fit your preference. This light is dimmable and is easy to install on a standard ceiling box. Here are some of the places this would work great...hallway, closets, utility room, stairwell, laundry. This light is great value and will last for years (50,000 hours)

Just an OK flush mount ceiling light
The Commercial Electric 10 in. 18-Watt Color Selectable LED Flush Mount Disk Light J-Box Compatible Dimmable 1500 Lumens was not what I was expecting. I had difficulty mounting this to a previous smaller light above the Master Bath shower. I was forced to improvise mounting this to the ceiling area in order to get it to function. I would not recommend this light unless you plan to modify the mount point for it.

Like it!
I didn't like the cheap looking plastic bubble light I had in my hall. This light was the perfect replacement. Gives that recessed look over a standard light box. Three color selections allow you to pick warm white, daylight, or bright white color temperatures. No screws to mount the fixture itself as it twist locks into the attached base. At 1500 lumens this is a little brighter than my previous light, but not too bright. I like it very much.

Easy to install!
Our house has a long hallway with only one light fixture in it. The old outdated light fixture just wasnt enough to take care of it. I shopped Round a bit and thought that I would give this one a try since it was a larger light than what was there. Needless to say I was impressed by the quality and how simple it is to install! It only took about fifteen minutes and it was back in action and wow did it light up!

Good design and well made
I like the way this light is installed. Instead of mounting the whole thing all together to the junction box, a small base plate is fixed to the junction box first. The plate is small and light so that is very to do this. After the wires are connected, the body of the light is attached to the base plate by inserting the two tabs and twisting the body ninety degrees. The light color temperature can be adjusted by using a slider switch. It's well designed and made.

I purchased the Commercial Electric 10 in. 18-Watt Color Selectable LED light for my basement remodel that I have low clearance and these lights from Commercial electric are great and very easy to install and they work great.
I have wanted these lights for a long time now and I can say that they are easy to clean and really light up the space and the color changing makes for a great ambiance.

Nice replacement
We actually used this to replace an ugly hallway light. We had one of those old 90's boob lights that I hated. Not only were they ugly they didn't light up the hallway very well. So, now we have nice clean bright hallway. It was super easy to install , easy instructions to follow, and you can choose the brightness which is a nice feature. Hopefully this light fixture will outlive us.
