AnswersI've rarely seen 1/2 threaded brass pipe and I'm not sure it is available from HD. I would do a search on the HD website and see what you can find. I used the 3/8 inch threaded pipe to make electric lamps and that worked fine for that project.

Answers3/8th.o If you want to place the rod into a wooden base or glass bottle, you need a 27/64th drill bit.

Building several bottle and cigar box table lamps and these pipes work well. Kit contains connectors, washers, and nuts as well as the pipes. Pipes can be cut if need to be shortened.
