18 in. LED Flush Mount Closet Light 270 Degree Adjustable Motion Sensor and Hold Times 1200 Lumens 4000K (4-Pack)

The product is great, after difficult installation. Attaching this to an existing work box proved impossible, so I had to improvise and mount it with drywall anchors, over the junction box, not directly attached to the junction box, because the sensor had to be mounted in a way, that was front facing to the doorway opening, so using the existing cutouts would, have had it facing away from the door opening. The sensor triggers easy, and the led coloring is bright and clear, no orange hue.

This light turns on day and night when it detects movement and should only turn on at night. I do not know why? For me that is not correct.

This is a simple, bright light - nothing particularly pretty or ugly about it, it's just pretty plain, but effective. It's main feature is the motion sensor - if you don't need or want that, you probably don't want this light. It's great for, and seems intended for, closets, especially if you'd like to open the closet door and not fumble for a light switch, this one can turn on automatically due to the motion sensor. It does require hard wiring, which is really very easy to do, just make sure the power is turned off at the circuit breaker.

I adapted this light for a different use. This is designed for wall mounting, but I mounted it to a box on the ceiling of a utility room in my basement. I like it because I can walk in when it is super dark and will kick on right away because of the motion detector. I have an additional light, but sometimes I walk in with my hands full of tools, lumber, etc it is nice knowing the motion detector will pick me up and turn the light on. Install was super easy. Make the color coded wire connections, mount to the junction box, and install the cover. Works like charm.

I really like the convenience of this 100-Watt LED strip light with adjustable motion sensor. You just walk into the closet and the light immediately comes on, it is handy if you are taking something in and have your hands full and turning on the light switch would be difficult. You just leave the light switch on and the light will come on automatically. You can set it for 2 – 5 – 15 minuets to turn off. We found the 2 Minuet setting to be perfect as the light stays on till you leave the closet. We have had it for a couple of weeks, and it works flawlessly.

18 in. White Closet Integrated LED Strip Light Complete with Adjustable Motion Sensor. The only issue I had installing this light was that the length of wire in the back was too short for me to work with, but considering It does a great job of lighting every little dark corner of the closet , I'm very happy. Plus because it has a motion sensor it saves me the trouble of stumbling in the dark looking for the switch. This makes it a better light product for me.

SUMMARY: A NICE MOTION SENSING LIGHT. BACKGROUND: I originally got this to put it in our Bnb laundry room but it wasn’t suitable for that location. So I decided to replace an old motion-sensing light I have in my shop for those late night trips to the shop refrigerator. FIT AND FINISH: This isn’t a commercial or industrial grade light but it is perfectly suited for installation in the ceiling of my shop. INSTALLATION: Easy to install, I used a power cord to allow repositioning the light as needed. The only issue is the light is designed to attach to a ceiling mounted connection box and does not have extra holes or knockouts for any other mounting method. OPERATION: The motion sensor pivots in two directions so you can get the best use of the fixture depending on your mounting location and orientation. There is no external power switch on this model so it must be connected to a switched power source. Also the switch to determine how long the light stays on is inside the housing. It would be nice if that switch was accessible from the outside of the fixture. The light itself is perfect as a motion-sensing light for use in a small to moderate sized space. SUMMARY: A light that works well for its designed purpose. PROS: Motion-Sensing, bright CONS: Limited mounting options, no external switch, timer switch not accessible from the outside of the light.

Wow what a bright light! The Commercial Electric 18" LED Motion Sensor Closet Light is a 4000k bright white light. It is 1200 lumens, equivalent to a 100 watt light. The color is similar to fluorescent lights, but so much brighter. It looks like the window, or door is open on a sunny day. We put ours in the laundry/utility room. We won't have to fumble for the light switch when our hands are full of groceries, etc.. Commercial Electric states at 16 ft motion is detected. I can't attest to that the way I have it installed. But, it comes on the minute the door is opened from the garage side. It comes on the minute we step onto the threshold from the kitchen. It works exactly the way we wanted it to work. It has 3 options for hold time. I left mine on the factory setting, 5'. It stayed on exactly 5 minutes once I left the room. Specifications state battery/hardwire. This is a hardwire light only. It was easy to install. If you can install a hardwired light fixture you can install this light.

Worthless piece of c..p!!! Purchased one and it worked for about 2 weeks and quit. Bought another to replace it and it didn't work at all. Don't recommend it!!!
