Product Details

Replace a socket or build a new light fixture safely and easily with the 2-3/4 in. Bronze 3-Way Turn-Knob Socket. Use with a medium base 3-way bulb for 3-light levels. The turn-knob switch makes operation a snap and the rich bronze finish effectively withstands heat. A straight bracket design helps make installation a snap and the socket is UL/CUL Listed for safety. The 2-3/4 in. H socket has a tapped 1/8-IP bushing and is rated for 250-Watt maximum and 250-Volt.

    A:  You can use an Incandescent medium base 3-way bulb, or an LED 3-Way bulb with E26 type with this 3-way turn knob socket.

      A:  Yes, it will work with an LED 3-way bulb.  I changed the single lamp socket with the 3-way.  Used a 3-way LED bulb. WOW, it works great and saves money compared to a regular bulb.

            A:  Not sure what size your tap on lamp is, but it is a standard lamp socket size. I would think that it would fit, but this one works by turning the know, so I don't know if it would work with a "tap-on" feature.
