Are these boxes made of cast aluminum material?
Hi Steve, the base box is Aluminum with zinc plate steel mounting plates.
These holes are described as 1". Will 1" PVC conduit with OD of aprox 1.3" fit into these, or is it really meant for 3/4" PVC conduit?
Hi Patioman, the metallic boxes are for rigid or IMC pipe. PVC should use a PVC box.
Distance between the side-by-side connectors on-center?
Hi John, the hubs are 1.5" apart.
is there a method/part that can allow NM-B cable to be clamped entering the back hole (at least, envisioning this mounted on an exterior wall with an NM-B cable entering through the back to transition to a UF or other cable)?
Hi Nick, a thought is to use a cable gland but I would suggest caulking the back of the box to prevent water entering the wall cavity.
I purchased this but there are no threads on the metal box to mount 2 ea 110v electrical socket. Is this how your box was designed? Also none the holes this box match up with your 2 gang outdoor see thur cover. 73 in 1 configuration.
