you cant just program the color temp
You can’t just program the tempatrure, each scheduled event change MUST set tempatrure AND on/off/dim — thats the only reason i wanted these, to set color temp for times of the day, but it turns your lights on and off — and thats jusy a failure of the Wink UI. These shoud be easy to progam in coupled or uncoupled settings with a checkbox in the UI.

They worked great, until they didn't...
I installed 4 of these in our dining room, and they worked great with my Wink hub for over a year. Then one died, I had a few more I had purchased for another project I hadn't done yet, so I swapped that one out, paired it up, and after having to edit every preset and such on the wink to now include this one instead of the original, all was working fine again. Then a few months later another died, so I swapped that one in the same fashion from the extras I had, and decided that I wouldn't be using these for the other project with this track record. A few months later, the next one, I was fed up by now and just swapped a bulb into the one for now and it stays on all the time. Now one of the ones I already swapped died, and the only original one won't change color temperatures. At this point I'm here on HomeDepot's website looking for an alternative, and honestly I was surprised to see this item still being sold after having seen them on clearance in the store a few months ago. They should all be covered under warranty still, but unless Commercial Electric was going to send me some other new version I don't think it would even be worth the effort of replacing them all and giving them another chance. Other than one individual light bulb that came with my original Wink package I haven't had any other issues with Wink devices.

Horrible quality control from the manufacturer. 1 out of about 56 did not have a sticker stating “this light has been modified and does not work as intended! Checked 3 different stores and all of theirs had the same sticker.

Was not clearly advertised that you had to buy an additional hub to control the unit. I bought this on clearance to try it out but did not want to invest in multiple pieces of other equipment. Looked interesting, but since we weren't doing an entire space, it didn't seem like there was strong value.

This trim hangs off the ceiling way to far. Looks really poor. And the beauty ring attaching by magnets is just not a good system. Makes the trim stand off further. I tried to return them all but Home Depot will only give me a penny for each. Apparently they don’t want them either. Nice.
