The fixture can be installed either directly to a junction box or into a 5 in or 6 in can and is sealed to keep bugs out. Was better than I was thinking was going to put in closet but had pancake box and will not work with that need deeper box like octagon box. So had to get a box and relocate the light in the closet. Went well with cut-in box and blank plate for old location. Works for 4" can light with screw in connector or hard wire connector. So selection of mounting ways. Light is very bright about light of 60 watt incandescent as far as output. and the color of light switch on the back is great so warm yellow to more daylight avail, just check before mounting as switch is on the back of light. nice snap on mounting so is no exposed screws to see when installed

This is a very low profile dimmable light and easily installed by any homeowner. What makes this nice is it is a compact, small, flush mountable light for already installed cans and roughed-out electrical boxes. I do wish it came in higher wattages however this 8-watt flush mount light is perfect for closets and utility rooms where you don’t require massive amounts of illumination. Because these lights used energy efficient LEDs for lighting they will save money long term even when the kids frequently leave them powered on for days at a time.

4 in. J-Box 8-Watt Dimmable White Integrated LED Square Flat Panel Ceiling Flush Mount Light with Color Changing CCT.
We are just at the tail end of remodeling our 1950s house with 7.5 foot ceilings, we went through and did as many thin or recessed lights as possible! We do have sever of these thing style lights and we are impressed with the light output vs the size. They're easy to install, so doing it during my daughters nap time is a definite possibility.

Super easy installation, only took me about 15 minutes per light! They fit perfectly in my existing boxes and wired up to the existing wires with wire nuts. They look great and give you the feel of a recessed fixture without having to retrofit! Only words of wisdom is if you have multiple sets of wires coming into one box you may have to trim or push to get this to sit flat on the ceiling. I had one box that had 3 sets of wires coming in and it was difficult to get it to stay with the spring clips.

Used these for kitchen remodel. Easy installation for old 5" or 6" cans (not needed) to new j-box. I used round, old work ceiling boxes.The 3 levels of color are an added bonus. The price was reasonable also. Now if they only last the 45 years estimated life span. Perhaps I should get an extra just in case one does go out; I'll take the chance of not getting one for now.

I purchased 3 of these lights and I highly recommend them. They are very bright, and the color temperature (kelvin) rating is adjustable, 3k, 4k, 5k,. The specs say they are 65w-75w , but they appear to be close to 100watt equivalent. They have variable mounting solutions and seem to fit any installation. The build quality appears to be substantial as well. hopefully they last a long time

This light has very wonderful design for ease of installation. It is an almost-ideal LED downlight with low-glare edge lighting. The color changing scheme ruins it. None of the color options is right for my needs. The SW setting with orange phosphor LEDs powered is perhaps 2800°K, not the promised 3000°K. Blue illumination is dominant in the other settings. BW with all LEDs powered, is well above 3000°K. DL, 5000°K, is quite ugly. Attached images show illumination compared to 3000°K.
