This HDMI extension adapter has become another tool for my travel setup. I prefer packing light. So, instead of lugging around a longer bulky HDMI cable, I pair this adapter with a compact 3-foot cable. It’s the perfect combo for hotel stays when I just need to connect my laptop to the in-room HDMI TV ports without having to crouch awkwardly under the TV. After several trips, it’s performed flawlessly with 1080p video connection from my laptop. While I haven’t tested it with 4K yet, the signal and picture quality has been rock-solid every time with no signal drops. Both ends of the adapter provide consistent solid connections with no loose fit. As an added bonus, I also snap my 3-foot HDMI cable ends into both ends of the HDMI extension adapter when packing it away in my luggage or carryon. This HDMI adapter was exactly what I needed. I have an outside TV (under an awning) and here in Southern California it can get really warm. For whatever reason, the place my TV manufacture positioned the HDMI ports is right next to the hottest heat generating element in the TV. So, my HDMI stick (which I use to connect to my TV service was constantly overheating and shutting down. This adapter allowed me to add a short HDMI cable to get the stick out from behind the TV. Problem solved. I've never had any problem with the picture or the streaming or anything HDMI related. Very inexpensive fix for a very vexing problem. Obviously, this adapter can be used to connect two cables to stretch out your cable length. Highly recommend

Great little hdmi extension adaptor, if you have two small shorter cords this product will help so you don’t have to buy a long HDMI cord. This would also help if you are connecting laptop to a tv and you don’t want the computer right next to the TV. Overall good easy product to use and has very tight fit helped me extend my shorty (3ft) to 6 ft due to adding another hdmi that was laying around.

Just when I thought I had all my home entertainment components arranged the way I wanted them I find out I'm just a few feet short on connecting an HDMI output to an HDMI input. I looked for another HDMI cable that would be the length I wanted and just could not find the right length!! The, this little HDMI Extension Adaptor showed up in my search and BAM!! Problem solved!!
