Great cover for single application boxes in wet locations. Has removable inserts to adapt a cord while in use and still remain closed. Options to mount vertical or horizontal with a removable PVC set pin, although Id like to see that pin made of a metal.

Pvc weather-resistant fixture :-)
This is a pvc weather-resistant outdoor fixture. I recently had fog during the night with no issues. The GFCI OUTLET I installed is also weather-resistant. I recommend this setup.

Excellent weather protection

Wrong item for new install in Vinyl siding
Barely fits J-block frame (HD #728228026007). Door release tab clearance issue between J-block and release tab. J-block depth over 3/4” will not work. Expect bees to love the large convenient access hole - I'll have to make something to fill that.

So easy to install!!
But one of the 2 I got, one of the hole is too small for the plastic pin to go through. I kept it open to the side instead of the top. The one installed on the brick wall needed caulking to prevent the chance of water getting between the cover and the bricks. Rain always hit this brick wall hard because I'm in the wind tunnel. The other cover I installed in the siding seemed fine. Since it is on the wall where rain rarely hits, it should be ok.

This product is good to use if you have a flush mounted electrical box. If you don't then the weatherproof receptacle sticks out approx 5 1/2 inches. Only use if you have a flush mounted electrical box.
