These lights were extremely easy to install. Very low profile and simply use clips to hold securely in place. Easy electrical connectors.

Lightweight and provides tremendous lighting capability. I had 8 installed in a 14 by 18 living room on dimmer switches. Because they are directional the can is a little deeper. We had to remove portions of trusses that were in conflict with the location of the lights so the units could clip onto the ceiling drywall. This was the only complication. In my case the location of the lights was most important so was unable to avoind conflict with the trusses. Very pleased with finished product. To change the color each unit hast to be unclipped and lowerd to select a different color and then just clipped back into place. Clips are spring loaded.

This is a versatile and easy install 6 inch directional recessed LED light that can be mounted without a can. The kit consists of a junction box for connection to branch circuit wiring (power) that is generally controlled by an existing wall switch. Knock-outs are provided on two sides of the junction box to facilitate branch circuit wiring from either side. The LED module has integral spring loaded clips that secure it in a round opening required in the ceiling or other mounting surface. A hole template is provided. Output wiring from the junction box to the LED light module is prewired with integral bushings on the junction box and LED module. The LED light module puts out 800 lumens but only consumes about 12 watts. It does not require lamp replacement and is officially rated for a life of 50,000 hours. An inline switch on the cord to the LED module can select the desired light color of either 3000K, 4000K, or 5000K to meet the lighting needs and/or match existing LED lighting. An installation consideration not mentioned in the instructions is that the LED pivots a minimal amount but only around the axis of a line drawn between the mounting clips. Therefore its important to install with the mounting clips positioned to correspond to the intended tilting axis of the LED. Overall this is a great lighting option for residential or commercial applications.

They look great and are super easy to install. I've installed 6 of these in my garage to brighten things up and have been very satisfied with the results. One of the best features is the ability to set the light color. The selector switch allows you to choose between Soft White, Bright White or Daylight. The way the kit is set up installation is a breeze. The included junction box is all set up to make quick and secure electrical connections. The spring driven retaining clips do a great job holding the light in place and the lights are IC rated so you don't have to worry about contact with insulation in the ceiling.

We really like this Slim Directional 6 in. Color Selectable Canless LED Recessed Kit by Commercial Electric. You don't have to install a big deep housing like the regular can lights have. It installs very easy. Just hold the included template in place and trace around it. Cut the hole with either a hand saw or jigsaw. Run the power line to the junction box and connect the three wires to the easy push and click quick connects. Set the light color temperature you want and your in business. Being a LED the bulb will last for years. I have a small area off the living room where I have my large wine rack and this light will be perfect for it. This light is also fully dimmable which adds an extra "plus" to it. The LED light is the same as a 65-Watt equivalent of a regular light bulb.
