This is a great replacement for a standard bulb that would otherwise be exposed. It offers a great amount of light and much less risk of accidently breaking due to impact like a traditional bulb.

Easy to install, can't beat the price and the ability to select the type of brightness makes this lamp great for multiple applications.

Purchased 03-19-2020 the 9 inch Black/Brushed Nickel part# 1003 103 765 along with two 9 inch Black/Red 1003 103 764 and installed them on 3-25-2020. I installed the units in our laundry room and garage as they do have more of an industrial look--they were $5 less than the 7 inch units. Simple to install as in my case no re-wiring was necessary as there were existing ceramic lamp holders so I was able simply screw in the units same as you would a standard light bulb--great feature. The second feature I like is the fact they are LEDs and conserve energy. And finally, you have the flexibility to adjust the light brightness to 3000K (soft white), 4000K (bright white) or 5000K (daylight) via a simple switch. The court is out on the life span but I have had good experience with this same brand but in the 7 inch 5000K (bright white) units 1000 016 474. I installed two in April of 2014 and had to replace one after about 5.4 years the other is still working. I also installed two more of the 7 inch lights in May of 2017 and they are still working fine also. Note in these areas the lights are on for long periods of time. I was so pleased with these units that I have installed an 11 inch unit 1001 258 405 in our dinning room and five 7 inch units 1002 312 164 in three different bedrooms, one in a hallway and one in a stairway. Note I did have to wire in new ceramic lamp holders in the dinning room and the three bedrooms. This worked out well as our house was built in 1975 and we have popcorn ceilings which was coming loose around the light fixtures. I bought four 16 inch medallions and the lamp holder worked great to hold the medallions securely to the ceiling basically solving the popcorn ceiling issue. The hallway and the stairs had an older type of light fixture from the 70's that had glass shades that were held on by thumb screws. I simply removed the shades and screws and the LED lights worked perfectly with the fixture and modernized the appearance of the lights. Finally regarding the appearance of the dinning room and three bedroom lights, my wife was very pleased with the looks of the dinning room light (remember it was the 11 inch light)--the medallion really improves the appearance and was necessary anyway. It was a big improvement over the old light fixture. As for the bedrooms the 7 inch lights do not look quite as good (not bad though) but are a much improved appearance over the light fixtures they replaced. I would recommend using the 16 inch medallions even if you do not need to as I did. Again the ability (at least in some of the units I purchased) allowed me to adjust the lights in the bedrooms to a 3000K (soft white).

A heavy duty and colorful addition to the spin light series of Commercial Electric LED lights that easily screw into any porcelain or plastic light socket. The red and black outside casing protects the lens and LEDs from damage. I installed the light I got in my basement which has a low ceiling height and I have banged the original easy light I previously had up and cracked the lens. So far the heavy duty light has taken a few hits without cracking. I have the light set to the daylight color temperature setting which gives ample light for my needs. If you want to add a splash of color to a garage, utility room or any where else then purchase this durable light.

Commercial Electric 9 in LED Heavy Duty Flush Mount light is the most simple light I have come across. It is simply wonderful. It comes with a adapter if you need it, but if you have standard light socket already in place all you have to do is screw it in. I comes with a switch that you can choose the light output you desire. The LED's are integrated into the base. The style of brushed black Nickel is functional and looks good. I can't say enough that this light was truly simple and looks great. I would recommend this light for hall light, basement light and garage light.

What a replacement light for a socket. I thought I was going to have to wire in the mount but it screws into the existing socket. A mount does come included as the picture shows but I did not need it. There are three different “K” settings, 3000K, 4000K, and 5000K. I prefer 4000K as it is the most true white light in my opinion. The only thing I observed is that the light is directed more downward unlike a regular bulb that shoots light everywhere. I included pictures that shows the difference. All in all, I really like the LED light!

This is a great ceiling light that's a snap to install if you have an existing ceiling light socket. If you don't, then it comes with a socket adapter that you wire to your junction box. The only issue I had was it had to be screwed on super tight in order for the light to come on. There are 3 color temp settings from soft white to daylight. This is a great feature. The light is pretty bright on any of the settings

Commercial Electric Heavy Duty 9 in. Round Black & Red 80 Watt Equivalent Integrated LED Flushmount with Color Temperature Changing Feature is rugged looking, and it is, actually, really, well made. Comes with the option to hard wire it, that's the plate in the photos along with the connectors or you can just screw it into a bare light socket. There is a switch where you can change the brightness. In my photo I have it set in the middle to 4000k. I am very impressed with this versatile light fixture. I have never seen these. Nice addition to my little man cave. Much better than a plain socket and it is the easiest fixture in the world to install, lol.

they install easily over a porcelain fixture without pull chain. I adjusted brightness to full, otherwise they light up about the same as a standard bulb. Chief advantage I can see is the reduced chance of breaking the bulb if accidentally hit.
