Is this safe to use on zoysia grass?

Is this safe to use on zoysia grass?
Asked by: Ian
Label - https://raganandmassey.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/02/228-145-84009_32oz.pdf My favorite lawn care site - https://www.lawn-care-academy.com/zoysia.html This site says to wait 7-10 days after your Zoysia starts to green up after winter dormancy because in that re-emerging stage, 2, 4D can harm it. Otherwise, 2, 4D won't hurt Zoysia if applied per label instructions. I've seen reports saying that going from 1.5 to 2.5 modes of application (multiple types of weed killers with different classifications, treating the same type of weeds) can give a massive improvement to killing weeds. Something like 85 to 95 times more effective. This is very important because if you treat weeds and they do not die, you end up with herbicide resistant weeds - that which doesn't kill you makes you stronger applies to weeds and weed killers. I mixed this on my new Zoysia lawn last year with Quinclorac and did a follow up application 2-3 weeks later and it knocked out tons of weeds (even sedge, which isn't on either label), and Quinclorac does great for crabgrass, which 2, 4D will not hurt as crabgrass isn't a broadleaf weed. I was going to do another application today but I like to read labels and I'm glad I did because my Zoysia lawn just started to green up this week, so if I'd sprayed, I likely would have hurt my grass. I'll just mow and come back in a couple of weeks and treat my Zoysia then. Weather delayed me putting down my Zoysia seed last year and my Zoysia wasn't established enough when it went dormant, so it wasn't safe to put down a pre-emergent so I had a lot of cool season weeds pop up in my lawn while my Zoysia was dormant.

How much per gallon of water?

How much per gallon of water?
Asked by: bob
Really had a difficult time trying to figure this out. I used a 23 gallon pull behind sprayer and put in 28 oz. I figured about 1.5 oz per gallon. I sprayed approx 2 acres with this configuration but wonder if i put enough. Weeds are not dying out as quickly as I hoped. It's been 3 weeks since I sprayed and the weeds are dying out (but not like roundup when you spray they are dead within a day or two). Hope this helps.
