Happy to help Mo! Rust-Oleum Concrobium Duo Blast Mold & Mildew Deep Stain Remover can be used on carpeting. Duo Blast needs to make contact with the mold stain and only targets mold stains. If there is excessive dirt or debris over the stain that can impact the effectiveness of the product. Apply as directed on the label, leaving the solution on the surface for a minimum of 2 hours. Happy to help Ed. Rust-Oleum Concrobium Duo Blast Mold & Mildew Deep Stain Remover can be used on a variety of surfaces, including wood. As with any cleaner, we recommend testing on an inconspicuous area first to ensure favorable results. Apply Duo Blast to the affected area as directed on the bottle, allow the solution to remain on the surface for a minimum of 2 hours, it may take up to 24 hours to see the full results. Duo Blast eliminates tough stains, it is not a mold eliminator. To eliminate mold use Concrobium Mold Control. Apply Mold Control over the affected surface in a thin even layer and allow to air dry completely. Can this be poured into a regular spray bottle and used? Will it mix and have the same effect as buying the one with the sprayer omn it?

I used a regular spray bottle and it worked well. The solution will bubble and expand when you mix the two ingredients. I allowed for this by filling the spray bottle 3/4 full and pressing it slightly before screwing the cap back on. As the solution expanded the bottle filled out but all worked well.
