Where can I find the original screen pattern? (like the original +++++ pattern, instead of the xxxxxx pattern of the screen as the second picture. Thank you for any help on getting the old screen pattern.

All I've see are the diagonal pattern. Do it yourself-mesh is available in most stores, but with no frame, would have to be stapled.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great product beautifies your home My house was built in 1947, and the foundation vents have seen better days. They were rusted, cracked, ripped, and most of them had large holes, which really defeats the purpose. A common approach I've seen is that people place a decorative plastic cover over the vent and call it a day. That's a bad idea, because not only does it severely restrict airflow, but also doesn't give a good seal, allowing large insects and small mammals (read: roaches & mice) still get in. Since these were built into the foundation, a direct replacement, if even available, would require ripping out large sections of stucco wall surrounding the vents. There had to be a better way! Well, a quick trip to home depot presented a perfect solution. These 14" x 6" beauties fit the bill just right! The first step was to rip out the old vent screen, followed buy the use of a stiff wire brush to scrub off the paint around the edge of the hole. This is also a good time to patch up any damaged stucco around the vent. Apply a liberal amount of liquid nails construction adhesive on the inside lip of the new vents, and then just snap 'em right on! Wipe off any excess glue with a damp cloth and your new, sealed foundation vents will last you for years to come. Check out my before and after pictures attached. Great value. Highly recommended!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from After having my house restuccoed and painted, the foundation grates... After having my house restuccoed and painted, the foundation grates looked very decrepit. I covered the grate openings with these covers, and now everything looks new. Easy to install, popped firmly right in to the opening, some with a little light tapping of the hammer. I had to snip a couple to allow for cables, etc., and that was no problem, either. Very reasonable cost for a good looking solution.
