Is this shade water proof or water resistant?

AnswersYes. This is not a waterproof shade. Even though the shade is pulled tight, on those rare rainy days, water collects in the center and drips onto the patio. Great for sun in So. Cal. Wouldn't use it in Washington.
Are there any other colours, like blue?

It’s perfect! Amazing difference in temperature immediately after it was put up. Easy to put up. Recommend buying different rope (I bought HD Everbuilt Diamond Braid Camouflage Rope 244 lb working load limit). Comes with white rope which may or may not be long enough for your needs). Rope I bought is 3/8”x 75 ft.
