I wouldnt ever buy again.
One of the jaws broke off after a few small weeds, i wouldnt recommend this unless you have extremely soft ground.

    Broke on the first weed
Tine snapped off on the very first weed, in soft soil too. Once I looked at it closely I could see that the welds were done poorly. I’m going to return it and try another, will update review after.

Pulled huge dandelions roots and all!
This Weeding Tool is tough, durable, and just flat out made to last! And if you twist properly, you'll get a deep pull on the weeds roots!

Followed instructions to a tee. Wondered why it wasn’t working that well. This is the result after the first use. You’re better off using a trowel and your hands than a $40 trash.

Weed puller is of very good quality and well designed. Has a heavy duty foot pedal for inserting into the ground. T-handle is wide enough to get nice leverage for turning creates times to create plug around weed root. Depth of tunes is adequate to capture most weed tap roots. Also like the push stopper to discharge the root plug. This will save my back!

The Corona weedslayer is a great yard tool. It is stout yet lightweight. The directions are as simple as can be just step, twist, lift and push plunger to eject weed/dirt. It's just that simple folks. Its a very simple design and the red handles are comfortable and stylish. The 2 blades are sharp and hefty to tackle hard soil and the toe step is a little small but it gets the job done when digging the tines into the dirt. The long shaft gives good height and leverage when twisting and removing those pesky weeds. The plunger can be a little difficult after a days worth of de-weeding when dirt accumulates in the shaft but nothing a little elbow grease can't fix. Overall this a wonderful product and just what a person with a bad back and knees needs for unwanted weeds.

Really a great tool. I have some weeds that pop up in various places both in my lawn and in my garden that this has worked great for. It seems a little crazy but you literally step down on it, twist it and up comes the whole weed. To pop out the weed you press the lever and you are on to your next weed. I have some deep ones that I have been trying to get out without destroying the whole yard and this has worked well. I suppose this would also work well for planting since it pulls out a perfect circular plug. Either way, I really recommend this.

My bad back has been saved by this handy device. This weed puller easily digs into the ground with its carbon steel blades and takes out the weed and root with a twist from the easy grip handle. I like just doing the weed pulling one time, instead of every time they grow back. It is so nice not to use harsh chemicals around my vegetable garden and pets.

Weedslayer is right! I like this thing. You just position the blades over the center of the weed, step on the foot plate to drive the tines into the ground, twist the handle and pull up. The pusher releases the weed once it's out. This also works well on those tough weeds that have a long taproot. If the weed doesn't come right out or if you have a particularly stubborn weed, the tool definitely helps dig down and exposes the root so you can easily pull it out by hand. The tool itself is heavyweight, sturdy and well made. This will definitely save your back as well as your hands.

This Corona Max Weed Slayer Weeder is the real deal and gets rid of weeds without having to sit on the ground or bend over for a back ache later on. This is long enough that you can just stand the way that you normally stand, all you have to do to use this is to center the end over the weed push down on the foot pedal rotate the weed slayer 360 degrees and pull up and the weed is gone and there is a knob that you push if the plug stays in the tool that pushes it out. It seems to be well made and should last quite a while.

I have mostly sand in my yard and whatever I put on my lawn to control weeds just washes away. The Corona Max Weed Slayer Weeder helps me address the weeds in my lawn. It is an easy tool to use and with my bad back a perfect one for the job. When I see a weed, I just place the two blades over the weed, press it down using my foot and give it a twist. No bending over and to dislodge the weed from the Slyer, just press down on the knob at the top of the handle and it falls out. On my sandy yard, the weed just comes out, Where the soil is more compacted, it leave a small hole, just like as if you are aerating your lawn.

I have a lot of ugly weeds on my property and so I was really happy to receive this item. This weeder is lightweight yet very sturdy and easy to handle. It has a very comfortable grip. All you have to do is put your foot on the step, forcing the teeth into the ground over the top of the weed. Then turn the handle once or twice in order to remove the weed.Next pull the weeder out of the ground. A plug will be attached in the teeth. Then push the center rod all the way down to release the weed into a trash receptacle. This tool enables you to remove the entire weed without leaving the root. .

Corona garden products are always well constructed and the WeedSlayer is no exception. This tool screams quality construction from the welds that hold the whole thing together to the steel foot-plate to the heat treated blades. And I don’t own any yard tool that has a more comfortable and sturdy handle. To remove all traces of a weed all you have to do is place the blades over the center of the weed, press the tool down with your foot, twist the handles clockwise, lift the weed out and press the button on top to eject the weed. It will leave a small hole that you need to fill with soil where the weed used to be but that weed is GONE for good.

This is just great. No more bending over or sitting on the ground to get ahold of weeds to pull. This Weeder makes it very easy. All you have to do is plunge it in the ground on top of the weed, step on it so it goes into the dirt further, and twist it back and forth -- then pull up the handle to remove the weed from the ground. Lastly pull up the plunger at the top of the handle which releases the weed.

I have another version of this kind of tool made by another manufacturer and I have to admit, I like the mechanics of this tool much better than my other one. They both use the same mechanism to capture the weed... center tool on weed, step down, rotate tool, pull up... but the difference is in how they eject the weed from the tool after it's been ripped out of the ground. On this tool, it's just a simple plunger attached to a spring... tap your wrist on top of the tool and it ejects the soil plug. On the other manufactures tool you have to rotate the tool body and slide something down the shaft (like you're wringing out a mop) - it's an overly complex mechanism and movement that really wears you down after a few minutes of use. By comparison, I used this weedslayer for almost an hour and didn't feel fatigued at all because the motions are so simple and take no effort at all. It does a pretty good job at removing the weed - no better or worse than the other tool. The build quality is amazing on this though. Big beefy metal with some real heft to it and comfortable grips. It's clearly built to last. I did ding it a star for the size of the soil plug removed... it's far too large and in my opinion just creates a nice place for a weed seed to settle down and start a new weed. All things considered, I'll pick this weed puller up before my other one any day of the week just for the simple ease of use.

This weeder is impressive. The height, ~40" from the foot step to the handles, is perfect for me to use and I'm just under 6' tall. The instructions included are easy to follow, step, twist and lift. But, the tool is aggressive. It pulls a plug about 2"-2.5" long around 1"-1.5" wide. It was plenty to pull the weed shown in the photos, root an all. But it also pulled a big plug, I would recommend filling the plugs with soil of some kind. It's effective, but aggressive.

Okay, I was a bit skeptical about this product, but I am pretty impressed. It is very solid...nothing flimsy. It was easy to use (caveat being that I live in FL where the ground is pretty sandy, so if you have firmer soil, it could be an issue, although I doubt it). Poke it in over the offending weed, push on the peddle, rotate it and pull. You then pop the weed out of the jaws by hitting the plunger. Worked great...only had the root of one weed (actually small seedlings from an old invasive tree; see pic) break. I might have been pushing in too far...( the peddle was ripping through the grass) left sizable divots, but they wont last long here. Very happy...hopefully it will save my knees and back in the spring.

When I first took it out of the box I thought, "Oh look my new Pogo stick weeder"..lol. It's very well made and the blades are nice and things It is not a one step use. First you push it down into the weed then you twist the handle 90 degrees and push the plunger to pull it out. Takes a few try to get the actions just right but once you do it works very well.

Great tool, this thing is solid and can take a beating. Its very well made. It does remove weeds quite well and works pretty easily- you just insert the sharp and gnarly teeth into the ground right on top of the weed, then twist. When I first read the direction and read twist I got a bit worried, I have carpal tunnel problems with my wrists and thought this might be more work than I was lookin for , But I do have to say I am impressed with the design on the tool- It must be the shape of the teeth that make if really easy to twist and remove the root. The tool also has a large and solid push plate to step on and get it deep into the roots. After several uses , I had no problems with my wrists at all, all the weeds and tougher woodsy ones came out pretty easily. It works very quickly , and also has a plunger to pop off the weeds into a bucket as you go along. Overall I love the tool and would highly recommend -But there was a few weeds That I found it was not usefull for at all - the weeds that had small root systems and very delicate leaves tended to kinda fall apart and not come out in one piece. And another thing to keep in mind - if you have a manicured lawn - this tool will remove lawn weeds but it will leave a hole behind also, so you may want to get a bag of top soil to fill the holes as you go along.

An ingenious tool to save your back pulling out those pesky weeds! The tool is heavy duty quality. The handles are soft and comfortable. Aim the prongs over the middle of the weed, step down on the foot peg which drives the prongs in 2-3". You can use either left or right foot by flipping the foot peg to preferred side. Twist the handle a quarter turn and pull out the weed. Aim over a bucket and push the plunger at the top and the weed pops off. Leaves a small hole where the weed was but so easy to use your foot to rake over. Tool works best on big broadleaf type of weeds. I was able to get smaller weeds as well. Love this gadget to save my back.

After watching my neighbor pulling weeds from his lawn on his hands and knees this tool made perfect sense to me. I have those pesky weeds with needles that my lawn weed killer doesn't affect so I either live with them or I'm down on my knees pulling them. With this tool, I can have the weed-free lawn that we all desire without the crawling on my knees any longer. You simply place this tool over the weed, step down and twist the tool while lifting up. It captures the weed and most of the root that'll prevent the weed from reappearing. You then use the plunger at the top of the handle to push the weed off into your bushel basket or recycling can. The tool itself appears very rugged that I expect years of use from.

This makes pulling weeds fun. I got this Corona Weed Destroyer to take out weeds in tight quarters in my flower beds but went out into the yard after thistles and dandelions, pulling 20 weeds in 10 minutes. It was extremely easy to use. Center the 3-inch teeth over the weed, step on it to drive it into the ground, twist and you can hear the roots snapping. Then pull straight up and the weed, root and plug come out together. A handy plunger pushes the plug from the tool and the weed is out. You may then leave the 1½” diameter hole or fill it with a plug or topsoil. The Weed Destroyer is well constructed of quality materials and should last many years.

I have had a very positive experience with this Weedslayer. I read some of the previous reviews while I was waiting for it to arrive, and really didn’t know what to expect. For me, this worked like a charm. I had no problems extracting the weed with the entire root still attached. I have a spot with lots of Dandelions and this weeder worked like a charm. I’m very pleased with it and highly recommend it. It was easy to level the ground out afterwards - kicking a little dirt in the hole and it was flat again.

Super nice weeder that makes pulling weeds out super easy on the back. The tines are perfect and cut right through the ground easily. I tried it in multiple different soil types and in thick mulch and the times had no issues cutting through the ground and getting to the root base. The tunes and bass plate are made of steel. The T-handle has very nice and comfortable over molding on them that makes griping the weed slayer easy and comfortable for all day work. The t-handle is also made of a thick aluminum or maybe steel and holds up well to weight being placed on it. The nicest part of the weed slayer is the popper that pushed out the weed root so you don’t have to reach over and pull it out yourself. Overall I would recommend this weeder. Really helps out the weeding process.
