Get the high-end look of quartzite to update your home or business from this Alpe Graphite porcelain floor and wall tile. The waterproof, scratch-, stain- and frost-resistant porcelain is ideal for indoor/outdoor use and can easily be installed in high-traffic areas for versatility throughout your home. The produced quartz crystal and delicate texture deliver an on-trend natural look. Install this Alpe Graphite porcelain floor and wall tile in your kitchen, bathroom or front hall for a sophisticated upgrade and lasting use.
  • 15.50 sq. ft./Case; 8 Tiles/Case; 56.00 lb./Case
  • 12 in. width x 24 in. length x 0.325 in thick
  • Grade 1, first-quality porcelain tile for walls of tremendous aesthetic impact, characterized by spectacular contrasts of light and shadow sculpted by an elegant lighting that exalts or softens the surface depth.
  • Glazed, slightly textured finish with low sheen and moderate variation in tone.
  • Suitable for both residential and commercial use.
  • Class 4 abrasion resistance (medium to heavy traffic) - suitable for all residential applications (both walls and floors), as well as medium commercial and light institutional locations.
  • Truly waterproof - porcelain flooring has water absorption of less than 0.5%, and it is suitable for indoor or outdoor use.
  • Completely frost resistant for indoor and outdoor applications. We recommend using a modified thin set when outdoor, according to the manufacturer.
  • Slip resistance DCOF greater than or equal to 0.42 - all Corso Italia tiles meet ANSI requirements for use on level interior or exterior floors expected to be walked upon when wet (not recommended for outdoor wet areas such as pools, where we recommend higher slip resistance - check out Corso Italia porcelain pavers).
  • It is recommended you purchase a minimum of 10% overage to account for design cuts and patterns. Before you begin an installation, familiarize yourself with cost factors.  This Project Cost Guide can assist you in budgeting for your tile project.
  • Please ensure that all tile needed for a project is obtained within 1 order - multiple orders can result in receiving multiple dye lots and/or calibers, related to different production batches, which may slightly vary.
  • Overlap during installation should not exceed 33% (a third of the tile length), 50% overlap not recommended. Don't forget your coordinating trim pieces, grout, backerboard, thin set and installation tools.
  • Made from natural ingredients, free from allergens, VOCs, formaldehyde and PVC. It is naturally inhospitable to bacteria and stain resistant - regular household cleaning will keep surface clean and sanitized.

Q:I purchased a carton of the Corso Italia Alpe Limestone 12 in. x 24 in. Porcelain Tile which we agreed meets our desire but note the edges are not square but almost radiused so if we use spacers on the bottom the top will be wider. Can you explain?

A:  Thank you for your question, Mike. In order to ensure a correct extraction of the piece from the press, the edges have to be this way. In order to have square edges, you need the rectification process, which not every tile has and comes at a higher price.     Q:This recommends maximum overlap of 1/3rd, so does that exclude utilizing a herringbone pattern with this tile?

    A:  Thank you for your question, Dan. Yes, it is true this is our recommendation, however, most of the time it works just fine in the herringbone pattern without compromising the technical performance of the tile. The surface where the product is going to be installed must be clean and level, and we strongly recommend dry laying prior to installation.

      Q:I recently bought and laid a pallet of your Alpe Ivory floors. unfortunately the contractor used sanded grout and the grout haze on the tile surface will not come off with grout haze remover. Any suggestions on how to remove it?

      A:  Thank you for your question, Arie. You can try acid detergents such as FILA DETERDEK or FILA PH ZERO. Another recommended product is FILA STAIN REMOVER SR95. It will be necessary to apply a mechanical friction with a 3M white type sponge. Should you continue to strike out with the any of these methods, we recommend reaching out to the grout manufacturer.         Tile received was not the same as Sample
        I ordered a sample of the Alpe Limestone and loved it! It was like natural stone. It was smooth, solid, and matte. I ordered it to go with the Alpe Ivory .Alpe limestone color was the same throughout which meant I could create my own bullnose. It took 25 days to arrive. Upon seeing the tile for the first time I knew it was not the same as the sample. It was thinner, had texture and a tingy sound. I hope to hear back from Corso Italia to make this situation right

        Good Afternoon Laurel - we have replied to you and requested that you send photos to us of the sample and tile you received. You can reply directly to that email with the attachments. Any exchange, return or refund will begin with a Home Depot claim, as your order was purchased through them. However, we will be able to tell you if the tile you received is ours. You will also have to reach out to Home Depot regarding the shipping delay, as they assign the carriers for all of their orders. Ivan

          Beautiful in kitchen!
          We replaced the 40 year old kitchen/dining tile in our house and chose this. It looks beautiful! It would also look great in a bathroom or general living space

            Perfect neutral matte textured tile
            I used this textured matte finish tile for our shower we just redid. It was a great neutral tile that will not show any soap scum. I paired it with matte black hexagon tiles in the shower niche and MSI Honeycomb hexagon textured mosaic floor tiles.

              Gorgeous day, great texture
              This tile looks beautiful and feels great underneath my feet. I still have not yet lived with it as the house is still being remodeled, but the tile looks really nice.

                Perfect and Affordable
                Every time my contractor is over, he looks at the kitchen, smiles, and says “I think the best decision you made is these tiles. I can’t believe how good they look.” - which is saying something, since I know how much he loves the rest of the kitchen. I have dogs, kids who are generally grubby, and this has been sturdy and easy to clean. And it looks like such a higher end product than the price would indicate!

                  Comparable to actual stone tile
                  Absolutely great tile. Speckles of shimmer make this porcelain tile resemble natural stone. Very easy to work with and cuts were clean using the Dremel with the tile cutoff wheel. Beautiful, durable, and easy to clean. Platinum grout color is an exact match for a seamless flow. The 12" × 24" makes for number of design patterns instead of the basic stagger, as well. Ll
