About This Product
Enjoy the beauty of Boston Fern from Costa Farms, which features solid, green foliage and is fantastic for large spaces. Not only are Boston Ferns striking, they help purify the air by removing unhealthy organic compounds. Grow Boston Fern in bright, indirect sunlight. Water it about twice a week with approximately 2-3 cups. Ensure excess water drains. Adjust as needed for your environment. Never let Boston Fern sit in water or saturated soil. When shipped, its about 16 in.es tall, measured from the bottom of the pot to the top of the plant. Boston Fern ships in a black, 10 in. grower pot inside a hanging basket. To help with water drainage, this container does have holes. Boston Fern is generally a slow grower, depending on environment and care provided. Boost growth in Spring and Summer with a fertilizer labeled for potted plants following the products instructions. When Boston Fern outgrows its current container, repot by gently removing it from its container and placing it in a 2 in. wider container. Fill with potting mix and water thoroughly. Hardy outdoors in USDA Zones 9-10. Exposure to the sap of this plant may cause discomfort to individuals with a sensitivity to it upon contact. I don’t place these ferns outside until May 10-15. Should probably be no colder than 55-60 overnight. Live on south shore of East End Long Island

They are full snd beautiful. I was pleasantly surprised how nice mine were when they arrived.Yes, they are large as shown in photo.
These ferns are my yearly patio favorite! As the description implies, it does appear as described....Very lush, healthy, & root bound. Excellent choice for the price. I place the pot in a deep saucer and water every day. There can be new ferns form in the drain holes in bottom of the pot.
No. They are smaller and much more compact. I was a bit disappointed at first. But they are fast growers and become full in just a few weeks when cared for. I used them in pots for my front entryway and they were gorgeous. I get them every year now.
