Asked by Ambrosia September 9, 2018

Hi Ambrosia! With proper care and plenty of time a Dieffenbachia can grow to be 3 - 4 feet tall. We hope this helps!

Does this plant need a lot of light

Asked by Sadie July 4, 2018

Hi Sadie! The Dieffenbachia prefer a relatively warm, humid spot with plenty of light. That said, dieffenbachia will tolerate low-light spots, as well. We hope this helps!

Yellowing dry leaves
This plant was given to me as a gift a few months ago. It already looked unhealthy as 2 leaves were dry and yellow and half missing. After removing them, my plant looked good. But within a month, more leaves are yellowing and drying. I cut the bad leaves off, now but I'm only left with 8 leaves. I've water more, less, moved it from filtered light to more light. Nothing is working. I'm very disappointed!

Response from Delray Plant Co.Feb 14, 2018
Hi Anna, We are sorry to hear your plant is struggling. Try increasing the humidity around the plant to prevent brown crispy tips. If the leaves are turning yellow, reduce watering and let the soil dry half way before watering again. We hope this helps! DelrayPlants

This plant arrived today looking nothing like the picture. The leaves were wet and hanging down in the pot, limp and dirty. It was the worst shape of any plant I ever received in many years or ordering plants by mail. I think it is totally dead. I won't buy plants here again. Very disappointed.
