Hi Np! At the time of shipment the plant should measure approximately 24 inches tall, measuring from the bottom of the pot to the top of the plant.
This plant is toxic to dogs and cats, all parts.
To keep the soil moist during transit so the plant does not dry out.
No it is not, keep children and pets away
Yes
Hi KS, At the time of shipping this plant should measure approximately 20 inches tall from the bottom of the pot to the top of the plant. It should measure approximately 11 inches tall from the soil to the top of the plant. We hope this helps.
Hi, This planter is a plastic made from a 100% recyclable #5 material. We hope this helps.
Hi Jon, The Monstera can be grown outdoors in the shade in frost-free regions. We hope this helps!
Yes, repot because more than likely your root system will have outgrown it's current pot. Even though the pot my Monstera came in was busted (from shipping probably) I waited a few days to repot just to allow the plant to rest and recover from the stress of shipping. My plant was root bound and very healthy...just needed to give it some rest before traumatizing it more. It's doing very well; lots of new growth.
Repot when the roots are almost overfilling the pot, otherwise you can leave it to grow in the nursery pot for a bit longer. Monsteras are aroids, thus an airy, well draining soil is the best. I use peat moss, perlite and orchid bark for mine.
