Norfolk Pines were packaged very well and arrived in beautiful condition, however, it would be wise, for buyers to wait at least a few days, before posting a review.
First, I immediately removed all the "trimmings" from the three Norfolk Pines, since I intended to keep for year round pleasure.
It would be good to note, other than the foil wrap that is stapled to the pot, the grow pot is stapled to ANOTHER clear plastic pot (no drainage), that sincerely needs to be removed immediately, if you do not want the roots to rot. Remove the staples first, then use a pair of needle-nose pliers, to extricate the grow pot from the protective clear pot.
In terms of proper Norfolk Pine tree care, they are more like a gardenia or orchid than a pine tree and need to be treated as such.
I moved the plants to another similar sized pot (same diameter, only slightly taller), adding pebbles to the bottom of the pot for drainage and adding a small amount of DRY orchid mix, to the bottom of the pot. I did NOT water at that time, since the plants were delivered with the soil soaking wet and root-bound
Norfolk Pines, arrived 12/09/2019 and five days later, tips are already turning black, drooping and needles are dropping. Maybe they will survive, maybe not.
If you are planning on using these only for the holiday as a throw-away (pity), go for it, otherwise better to move on to something else.

I think this is a nice little pine that brings a small touch of the holidays indoors. It's about a foot high and fairly easy to take care of. The burlap covered pot with snowflakes is a nice detail for the festive season. We keep it on the kitchen table and water it occasionally. It was surprising how they are able to pack plants like this for shipping so that they do not arrive damaged!

Costa Farms 4 in. Fresh Norfolk Island Pine in Burlap Pot – This little Norfolk Island Pine was very carefully packed and arrived in very good condition; it was impossible for it to move around in the box. The tree is planted in a 4" plastic pot, which is set in a gold decorative wrap and then put in a burlap covered, more flexible pot which is lined with a plastic film.
We found that the soil was very moist and not drying out because the burlap pot is taller than the plastic pot and with all the layers there wasn't enough air circulation. We removed the gold wrap and put a small plastic cover from a juice bottle in the bottom of the burlap pot and set the plastic pot on that. Now, the tree is getting air and starting to dry out.
The tree looks really nice decorated with felt snowflakes and wooden tree stake. The snowflakes are attached with pipe cleaners and are easily removed after Christmas. If you can get this small tree on sale, it makes a nice gift for the holidays.

The Costa Farms fresh norfold island pine is a great little tree that makes an awesome gift. The trees were delivered to me, all three in one box. The packaged pretty tight so they made it without any damage. These little trees smell and look great. The came in a pot that had a plastic cover designed as Santa's belt. When watering them you need not to water too much because the excess water get stuck in the plastic around the pot. Don't want to over fill them. I like the little red bulbs and the santa's hat on a stick that decorates them.

This small tabletop indoor tree arrived in good condition without drying out during shipping. The tree branches are supple, vibrantly green, and emit a welcome pine smell. The tree comes in a burlap wrap for its plastic pot and small staked winter decor for the upcoming holidays. These decorations can then be removed to keep the tree year round. The tree has a decent shape and okay fullness and should fit well with other similar sized decorations.

This is a neat little pre-decorated tree that is about 17" tall and about 9-10" across and it's widest point. We've had this now for several weeks and it is still going strong. It was our first Christmas decoration that was put up BEFORE Halloween. This tree came with about 4 snowflake decorations.
Out of the box there is a little bit of plastic wrap that needs to be removed that is used to help the planter retain moisture. The burlap is a nice decorative touch, but there is a plastic planter on the inside to keep everything neat and clean.

These are the second plants I've ordered from Costa Farms. And I'll certainly be ordering more.
The plants arrived in perfect condition ... every single one; no damaged foliage at all; great media.
The packaging was superb. By far, the best I have ever seen ... in sharp contrast to what I received last week from Home Depot's largest supplier.
The shipment came from Miami FL, 1,200 miles away. They were wrapped fourfold [or maybe fivefold ... OCD-type packaging]. Each plant individually wrapped.
Even if this oblong box was shipped upside-down and manhandled, they would have still been perfect.
Great job, Costa Farms. I'll be looking for your tags.

Beautiful accent tree with a lovely aroma. Comes with winter accessories.
It is small evergreen shrub, about 10 inches tall consisting of 3 individual rooted stalks in a clump. It has a lovely pine aroma immediately noticeable upon opening the box. This little shrub makes a great accent to the winter decor, as it comes decorated with felt snowflakes and a Christmas tree shaped plaque which are easily removed when seasonally appropriate. The burlap pot with snowflakes is just a shell that a plain pot sits into. I'm pleased that it's not a flashy red and white type of Christmas, but rather a soft white and brown winter vibe that complements any winter decor--even in early November among pumpkins.
This tree arrived nicely packed and protected in a cardboard box, wrapped in a layer of cling wrap to keep it safe during shipment. The shipping box included a helpful bit of immediate care instructions (remove from box, keep out of heat and cold, etc.).
